Druid seeds...
Yah, I agree that the design choice for Seed of Life is rather… odd. Maybe they wanted to go with something otherworldly to fit with the celestial theme, but even then it should have just been a really fancy looking flower, not a weird pulsing tumor thing.

The image is probably an actual representation on how the developers view or feel about the Ranger/Druid.
A otherworldly tumor
Johnny Johnny – Ranger (Ehmry Bay)
Hárvey Wallbanger – Alt Warrior (Ehmry Bay)
i think its ment to be some sorta Celestial Fungus in all honesty, i feel it’d of looked better if it was more natural, or they added abit more to the base model, even if they replaced 2 of the big globes on top with bright blue Flowers it’d of looked better,
I want it to look like this. The flower, not the panties. Well either is fine I guess.
WTF Over – why you no NSFW!!!!!
Lol – GW2 soft porn. J/K.

I could get behind that. Then my Ranger could pretend to be Eric Foreman as he’s spamming his glyphs.
As a druid i run around placing hemorrhoids on the ground to cleanse,
and shoot sonar beams at them to. I now RP as a Submarine underwater

I think they are modrem styled, so not necessarily ugly…just not what you want personally.
Without asking too much effort perhaps they could use the graphic from the tree thing that thieves steal from rangers.
I would agree on this subject. I wonder what kind of…mentality who wake up one day and goes “I will pick tumor image for this particular animation”. Even just a normal small tree would be fine, doesn’t have to be something THAT odd. It takes a …special guy to select that image over all things plant-based you have witnessed in your life.
it means THEY got me for " neg criticism in clever disguise".
Know that it has been fun and I love ya all.
Yea, they’re called seeds, but I think the word they’re looking for is
pustule

Bursting Pustule
Yeah flower thing please. And that flower stays for a couple of seconds with cleansing pulses, so my teammates have a chance to see the flower and go for it at least in time to grab one pulse and cleanse 2 condis.
And would make the weak Astral form more resilient against conditions.
Also because the Astral Form needs more tinkering that just the pustule:

I believe that would be Healing Spring? You don’t need to trait for Druid to be able to access that tho.
A tumor, haha. I have to say I agree on that. I wasn’t really fond of how it looked but now you’ve pointed that out it looks even worse for me. Wish you haven’t said that.
The Seeds of Life mechanically is more like a timed explosive that detonates in a shower of healing. IRL there are types of fungus that violently explode. The Brachydios in Monster Hunter has a symbiotic relationship with an explosive “slime” mold that grows upon its obsidian armour.
Now I’m not saying the Devs are just copying Monster Hunter, but exploding fungus is not a completely alien concept and it has been used in gaming on multiple occasions. It wouldn’t surprise me that they were trying to make the seeds of life look fungus-like, which means, as we naturally have an aversion to fungi, the seeds of life look “icky”.
