I carry ascended Celestial and Soldiers with me in WvW, soldiers for zerg-surfing and i roam in cele.

Op’s stats seem about right to me.. I have about the same healing power with stacks with a bit more toughness for cleaving with gs while I try to nut-hug commanders.

- Roaming/ small fight: i run full cele. You’re good to duel with any foe, but lack a bit dps.
- Backline zerg: Full berseker/ marauder pew pew till you die from reflect or retaliation.
- Frontline: Like your current stat, but you need more than 3k2 armor to suvival with tag. 2k9 is a bit squisy, change SnR to Signet of Stone then.

Roaming Condi Druid
- Mainly Dire in WvW – Waiting till I can get trailblazer jewelry outside of Raids

Those are with just food buffs and bordelands bloodlust.

I haven’t been beaten 1v1 in months with this thing.

PS: I don’t 1v1 full dire condi daredevils. Nothing beats a decent one in 1v1 right now.

It all depends on your preference and play style I have yet to see a Druid build with higher healing and survivability than mine…but I chose to build her that way, and love it.

Because they changed the way that healing effects event participation and tagging mobs for kill credit, I have no need to do damage – so that’s a moot point

Sustain is actually really good, but you can’t camp staff. Have to constantly swap weapons and pet f2’s and move and know your cool downs.

I don’t need druidic clarity because my build allows me to never have to enter CA unless its a dire emergency…which is almost never…also, my condi’s are transferred to my pets…so again, no need for druidic clarity

o ur talking about zerging lmao. ok yeah follow ur heart and do no damage I guess. druidic clarity is still better as it’s often the only way to survive a plex condi bomb. and even if u still don’t want it, the staff recharge/daze trait is probably better than what you’ve got tbh

Actually use it for all modes except raiding…but shrug…I like what I like, you can like what you like.

^ That is what I run for WvW. It isn’t perfect by any means but it survives very well and has a decent bit of condition spike while maintaining some raw damage. I’ve been considering switching to just straight dire armor and trinkets for it though. The healing power is the only thing that would be painful to lose.

You don’t get credit for WvW drops from healing allies. If that actually worked that way I wouldn’t still be getting 3-4x the bags on my marks spamming necro.

If healing allies gave the same tag4bag credit attacking did I would get dozens from every zerg wipe from just AF4 alone.

I didn’t say you got bag drops from healing allies – you get event credit for that…however, with the seed burst (and the fact that I tend to be in the middle of the fight all the time)…I’m tagging kills and healing allies…my bag drops are fine.

I use all clerics for WvW, i like to chill with Zergs or small havoc squads and keep everyone alive that i can.

Staff/ Axe + Warhorn.

Staff 1 alone, i get plenty of tags

Celestial Ascended armor.
Runes of Durability.
Toughness / Healing accessories.

Can do just about anything I want with those stats and darn near unstoppable while providing support should I join zerg or roam with friends ala HAVOC.

I’ve tried longbow very extensively and, even though it’s a decent wapon, for roaming specifically, shortbow ended up being the superior weapon against most match ups. Shortbow is just that much better for constant pressure and when a foe’s in melee range of you. S/D is just as defensive and mobile as GS but with way more constant damage with AA. GS also has its share number of unreliable skills.

Celestial Shadow and Ancient Seeds are absolute must haves (for roaming obvisously), don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The fist is the strongest roaming trait in the entire game. The second can get you wins against several classes, necromancers come to mind. You can also reliably set it up with shortbow 5.

Give or take some traits. Full dire gear. Your typical FotM condition rune and sigils.

I don’t think that druid can have a nice spot in WvW zerg fights. We are good to roam or pew pew down the enemy commander, but nothing more.

Druid is great in organized comps, I run it front/midline with my guild. You need to be in a stability party is part of it though, but you can run much less defensive the full clerics and still drop heals like crazy and unless you get picked/ganked out of position, you should really never die in a zerg situation unless your whole zerg is getting wiped.

i used to go with approx. 2200 power, 50 % crit chance, 2.6k armor or so, and the rest of my stats in ferocity.

i use longbow and sword / dagger .

now im using almost entirely assassins, with the only exception being trinkets which are of course, beserker.

same build, same weps.

i find toughness to be boring as heck. you never get better at your class if you play with such a huge safety net. it basically enables you to make 99999 mistakes, and still survive. im done with that. i want to play high dmg again.

furthermore. if youre roaming, like i am exclusively.. playing celestial stats is gonna get you nowhere as the only thing you will ever be able to kill are npc’s.

if for you guys, roaming is attacking players forever until more people show up on either side is fun, go ahead. but i wanna actually kill them.

this is basically it for spvp, and for wvw, i use the trooper runes so i can condi clear with my shouts, and just use food for the regen instead.

good build for 1v1 if youre quick and know what youre doing, and also brilliant at sniping down people that are trying to run. lol.

Mhm, your gearing is fine, though my preference would be to run a water sigil on the staff as well, over the life sigil.

Also, you want to probably change your trait in the Druid traitline to the one that clears condis and stun breaks on entering Celestial Form. That’s a huge part of your survival.

The only other thing is that I’ve been running traited shouts instead of glyphs so I can heal over time with regen and enter Celestial Form on cooldown if needed, but I’m not necessarily saying that’s better, as I’ve gone back to testing glyph oriented builds myself since the glyph heal is so good for survival.

Just that one trait though makes a world of difference.

Celestial isn’t that bad. You just have to use accessories, runes, weapons, and sigils to match. It isn’t no where has good has it used to be but they are not bad either. I find I can use one set of armor now rather than 2 or 3 before.

Maybe not – but it might be close. There are a few I’ve seen running minstrels with a similar healing number. I also found this fella running something with a ticker lower healing but higher condition. In either case, nice build and set up.
