Hey guys, so my main is a druid, and aesthetically I’ve made him look extremely druid like, purple and blue colour schemes, zodiac shoulders and legs etc, and so for me, as soon as I thought about my first legendary, Astralaria was no doubt the one I wanted to make! But I don’t actually know too much about the meta, I’ve looked at metabattle and researched a lot but I don’t know if it’s possible to have a dual axe druid?

Obviously I want to show off Astralaria the most I can, so I’d like to dual wield axes and then have a staff or longbow, is this viable at all? I don’t care if it’s not the best possible thing a druid can do, but I just want it to be viable. Axe main hand is probably my favourite and what I find most fun anyway so if this could work I’d be so happy!

So to conclude, sorry for rambling, is there a viable build of druid where I could dual wield axes? Thanks in advance for your help :’)

A/A is a weird set that has not seen much play previously, but I think with the latest changes it can be pretty good. Hybrid stats are needed for A/A to be decent. A new stat set coming with PoF, Greiver, may be BiS or Viper may remain. It will depend on the length of the fight.

LB or Staff is not a good pairing though, imo, SB would be. To take advantage of the Axe OH you will need a fire field to whirl finish, so Torch OH in the other set, flame trap or Fire Wyvern. Look at ferocity stacking, we can get 930 with Vicious Quarry, Honed Axes, Sigil of Cruelty and SotW, thats 62% more damage on crit. Run the Bowl of Cactus Fruit Salad food to fuel your condis and charge AF through lifesteal, as well as a Sigil of Water on MH axe. Maybe something like this.

I would hang out for PoF to launch though, so we can see which set will work for hybrid better, Greiver or Viper. With the amount of ferocity we can stack, I’m betting on Viper for raiding and Greiver for everything else.

Druid with dual axe, that would be me! But then again I’m running celestial to be able to do a bit of everything decent, so I find it to fit my build quite nicely.

Greivers will be Power/Condition & Precision/Ferocity, so it gives up Expertise (condition duration) for Ferocity when compared to Vipers stat, which I think may make it better for shorter fights that don’t take long.

I just made the assumption that you didn’t want healing power. There is another stat set coming that I don’t know the name of, but it is Power/Healing Power & Condition/Precision.
