So, as the title says, curious to know where the Eir’s Longbow item comes from? Is it a drop? Seen several people who said they have it and now that I’m getting higher level, looking to find ways to go about getting one for myself. Thanks.

Got one via mystic forge while trying to get Leaf of Kudzu

Pretty much yeah, forge 4 exo shortbows longbows and you will have the highest chance imo.

So just reforge 4 longbows in the mystic forge? Level 80, and I assume they have to be exotics also? Thanks for posting up some info.

Just gotta put 4 level 78 exotic longbows in the forge and then combine them and hope for the best.

Mine came from a drop in WvW

I got mine from a chest in CoF story mode.

loot on [Group Event] Kill the Son of Svanir and his corrupted wolf pack

It can drop from AC too I think.

I got this bow from wooden box drop from iceblooddog at Jormag event.

Got mine on my warrior as a drop off of a WvW invader loot bag. Got the one on my ranger from the mystic forge with 4 level 80 rare longbows

Eir’s Longbow is basically a random drop. So your best bet at obtaining one without being subject to RNG would be to simply buy one off the TP as they usually sell for under 5g.

Do NOT Salvage Exotics to get this bow.

The bow only costs 5 Gold from the TP and you will lose money on even 1 forge. 4 Exotic Shortbow’s are worth more then 5GP and you’ll still be at the mercy of RNG.

If you have 4 Exotics, sell them and buy the bow flat out off the TP.

True. 5g is cheap.

Btw, I got mine from forging 4 rares, you all write about exotics. Well, I basically throw all my rare and exotic weapons into Forge and salvage only armors.
