I dont know where this post fits best (HoT or here) so I put one here too…

The elecrtic Wyvern, it is a flying/winged beast that doesn’t do a single flying attack. Thats just sad. It looks clumpsy when it does ALL the attacking on/from the ground. The Fire one has one flying attack that is really cool.

Suggestion: Make the electric attack a flying one similar tothe one the Dragon finisher uses in PvP, slightly modified…… The attack could also be inspired by Gryffon’s swoop.
Maybe a bit of a swooping movement where it flies up to come down, breathe the electricity and then hit the enemy with the tail instead of the headbut.

What do u think other ppl out there?

I think it’s fine. You know how popular wolfs are for their cc, so it wouldn’t surprise me if Electric Wyvern became the most popular.

I can definitely see Electric Wyvern compete with the Wolf as go-to CC pet. Both have cripple attack and hard CC on their own skill set + F2 hard CC. Wyvern might have the better F2 ability as the charge doesn’t have as big animation tell as the Wolf howl that’s easy to dodge. Changing the F2 in to a swooping ability would make the knockdown pretty noticeable and easier to dodge, so I’m against changing the animation. Sure it would be a lot cooler but less practical.

It’d be nice if the Wyvern instead of headbutting was just flying over the target in line, stunning everyone in it’s path.

I could see double-wyvern being really decent in pvp, actually. If you have expertise training, the wyverns have 1000 condi damage (plus whatever might stacks you have up), so you can use the electric wyvern for CC effects and the fire wyvern for area denial, since the fire field it puts up can cover an entire point while the fire wyvern is unhitable in that animation. They’d combo quite well in a point holding setup.

People are putting pressure on a poor pet that’s not even available yet… Way to go guys…

Having a visual attack warning ppl (in PvP) that something bad is comming also make them interrupt what they are doing – in order to get out of the way. Or they spend time/energy on countering/protecting themselves from the comming attack – while u can do other things.

its a animtion so i’;d guess they will walk towards where the wyvern’s (hit box) was during its cast of Fire ring keeping them inside the circle untill it lands or untill they stun break it.

If taunt had a more usable range (240 is pitiful) I could see it being more usable outside of pvp. If the fire wyvern’s F2 deals decent damage along with the burning application, using taunt to keep your target in the fire field could be devastating.

Smokescale will be the best pet I think. A smoke field is really useful.

Yup, and it doesn’t have an incredibly stupid knockback tied to it.

Why isn’t taunt being tied to the enemies that would actually be hit?

AoE for AoE-F2, single-target for single-target-F2 and the range of the actual attack/effect. Jungle-Spider + Taunt 10/10
