FROST SPIRIT IS BACK!
That is a record normally they only fix favorable changes that quickly, I guess Frosty is the exception to prove the rule.
Now, that and all the ranger love from latest feature pack… I don’t see why rangers should get prejudicially kicked from PUGs
Ranger PvE hype!
Yes, thank you for the feature patch (will need to get used to the NPE though…) and for fixing back Frost Spirit
Wonderful! Now if only they’d fix the dang flesh of the master bug for necromancer minions. -_-

I can only guess that fix is harder than simply removing an internal cooldown. I mean, really, all things considered, fixing Frost Spirit really wasn’t hard at all.
Thank you for fixing this so quickly, ANet. It’s great knowing that this was just a bug and not a potential stealth nerf change that so many of us assumed.

Woo! Now I can burst harder with Rapid Fire and Barrage. XD
it’s really a good change, whitout frosty rangers were -worse- than before the patch in pve.
…now if only the rangers that joined me weren’t always bearbows… >_>

Actually ranger dps was higher than ever before after the feature patch. New trait, signet change and LB changes pushed rangers into the top 3 of DPS spectrum along side with thieves and eles. And now with frost spirit rangers will be as important party member as warriors in terms of getting the most dps out.
problem is then you see them away from the fight, pewpewing with a bow, far from boon reach, with a bear’s kitten in my face, signet of the hunt only, no spotter, no frost and the boss laughing.
granted, i see just as bad warriors/guards/whatever. even had a condition thief in my party yesterday… >_>
Pugs will always be random. If you want to have proper pug runs then you need to make a specific LFG and actually enforce that people fill those requirements. I personally have very few bad pug experiences because when I end up resorting to the LFG I make sure to ask for meta builds and gearcheck them, and if they do not fill those requirements then i’ll just boot them from the party.
Or just find a guild with like minded individuals.
GREAT, i may get to try out some new spike DPS builds now (another +10% in the bag)
Currently @ some T1 server in EU
WOW! Didn’t expect this so quickly! I almost feel like a normal class no, I only need a longbow with the super pistol sound effects.

And where are the calculations that support what you say about dps?

The Super Longbow has midi sound effect also though it isn’t as pronounced. It also has kind of a janky firing animation on it though. It’s the big reason I don’t use mine very much.
