Faux is correct. Additionally, having more toughness makes the +healing even more effective. This is why I think the apothecary condition tank is superior to the cleric direct damage tank.

I disagree, superior is a loose term, I know quite a few friends that play bow rnagers that run a mix of cleric/knight, have over 1k healing etc and they do fantasticaly. I think people are thinking this is the “One build to rule them all”. I beg to differ, even though I do run something similair. Sarlack/Kalorian happens to be one of those guys.

The heal +archery is interesting. I am doing the build with double melee but I am better with bows. Might play around with the editor.

Mishmash Hybrid of Cleric/PTV final “stats” end up 3K Armor 2K toughness 20K hits 1K Healing (3 passive regens) and 2K Power/3K attack, steady white damage…burst comes from pet and I have NO Crit/rate or Damage

Spec is 0-0-30-10-30 with focus on Protection/Barkskin/Regen/Vigor

With confusion becoming the go to thing lately, I wonder how this build would work with Melandru Runes in place of Dwayna Runes, and Lemongrass food in place of Mango Pie so that conditions just roll off of you, reducing a lot of incoming damage since the counter to high toughness, is condition damage.

Confusion is taking a huge nerf in wvwv soon enough. People are stacking 8 stacks for 5k dmg per skill and it’s op. Anet has addressed it

Good survival for sure but I can’t help feel the damage must be lacking and be very low on anyone mobile and good at avoiding the pet.

It has 3k power ad I’ve seen it in action, it works, and it works very well, Kalo is wicked with the double bow.

Those are definitely very nice stats. I’m going to have to check that level of +healing with what I currently get going full cleric/apoth to see the hp/sec difference.

I tried it breifly, didn’t suit me at all couldn’t kill a thing I miss the crits too much and like to be able to pressure more rather than wear them down.

High crit chance and pies heal almost aswell as this anyway aside from the spirit.

No. That’s about as far as you can get from this build. In fact, the only way to be any more different from RRR is to use LB/GS power/prec/crit.

This would work, although I’d never use the longbow myself greatsword or sword+dagger would be better in my opinion but anyways if you want 2 bows go for it

Won’t get as strong regens of course but it’s still 215h/s from that alone wich is nothing to sneeze at.

Stop bumping this, let’s make room on the forum pages for builds that actually work :P

can this build work in dungeons ?

I use it in dungeons, but I would recommend a power build tbh. Outside of fractals, I feel kind of useless damage-wise. Of course, I’m always the one saving my team and the most able to kite stuff around which is a huge boon for a group in higher fractals. So whether or not this build works in dungeons is up to your interpretation of what is useful in dungeons.

I have a solid build for dungeons that i am very happy with , i use your build in PvP . I am just wondering if you could get some footage of it in FOTM 20+ and some dungeons if possible

I use this build still even tho the pet dmg is reduced I wish i came back to the game before hand im still having fun tho. I pretty much can 1v1 anyone my only problem is 2v1 i can get one down but cant spike them in time. Im using the Dwayna runes settler weaps and accessory. Crafted apth gear. Basicly is there any tips peope can give me? should i change the runes? weapon sigils? I did try the boon build i just couldnt keep up with casting guard and attacking =\ .
