So many options… Ogre, Pack, Melandru and The Grove are mine, flock is pretty fun too.

Not using any runes at the moment as they are way too expensive. Instead I use 6 Ruby Orbs

oh i only have runes that were already in my armor (2 melandru, 2 grenth, 1 lyssa, 1 dwayna) so my stats are all sorts of messed up in PvE i only put what i have in PvP… need to determine what to do for PvE still…

Ruby orbs are the best price/stats ratio you’ll find. Probably scholar is the best PvE rune

For my current PvP build, I use runes of the fighter. For my current PvE/WvW build I use runes of the wurm. There are so many good ones though…

To go with Knights jewelry, P/T/V Armor setup and 30 WS (Barkskin)….3200 Armor and 2300 Toughness in Medium Armor

Your setup sounds remarkably similar to what I use. Identical gear-wise.

You don’t happen to run 0/0/30/25/15 with a Greatsword+Axe/Warhorn combo, do you?

3 Superior Runes of the Scholar, 3 Superior Runes of Divinity

If you go with power/crit/crit. dmg , the best thing is to go with ruby orbs……Nothing comes close,especially if you consider the price ratio.

Not sure where people got this idea from. Pretty sure Scholar beats that. When I tested it out in the HOTM with a steady weapon, Scholars hits harder than Divinity even when my health was less than 90%, which means bonus 6 wasn’t even applied to it. And Divinity has better stats than even ruby orbs.

Ruby orbs are cheap, that’s about it.

That’s what he said. The price:damage ratio is hard to beat with Ruby Orbs.

As a whole, I’d tend to agree, but you will see a damage increase if you shell out the cash for runes.

For a condition ranger, I’m loving runes of the Undead in my Rabid armor. Bleeds hit REALLY hard.

I actually don’t use the final rune. I have one of those +10% MF. ;-)

Btw, when i got the runes, it was MUCH cheaper to buy final runes, than buying the mats. Make some calculations!

Full set of Ranger runes for me …
Even put a 7th in my aqua breather to keep the +5% damage with a pet.

Full Set of Scholar Runes are the best Dps Runes for a Longbow Ranger

Power and Critdmg and 10% Dmg above 90% Life

all rune is out of sight-player and feel good use for me.

In PvP I use runes of Water.

I run full Dwayna oh and I’m its not just the runes, I run the full Dwayna armor as well.

I feel like Divinity is the best for high crit SB builds which are interested in being well rounded. It might not be the highest damage out there, but you get the most stats on the full set. +60 to power, precision, healing, vitality, condition damage, and toughness and 18% crit damage.

It’s not super flashy, but it’ll make you tough as nails.

Well yeah if money is an issue of course there are cheaper option. But overall divinity gives you 360 stat points vs. 204 from an orb set.
