It’s just a little point of view of what it miss for the Ranger and there are maybe a few good ideas… or not ^^
Pet
- The pets need an endurance like we, not for dodge but for sprint.
So when we use the F1 and the F3 he can sprint, and we can manage his dodging of the AoE.
He can use it whenever he needs run. - He must to be more reactive.
Ranger
- More traits for the Ranger himself and less for the pet.
- A “Chameleon Mode” to the Ranger and the pet, maybe a trait in the Wilderness Survival. When he is out combat since (x) seconds and if he not moving, he become transparent (it’s not stealth) and his name disappear. He still visible if you look with attention.
If he moves, or uses a skill he exits of the “Chameleon Mode”.
With this, he will make good ambushes !
Pet and Ranger
The pet is a part of us so I think that a synergy with the pet must be present in all utility skills of the Ranger (without traits).
- Survival : gives (x) seconds of ‘Might’ for your pet.
- Traps : gives (x) seconds of ‘Fury’ for your pet when a foe activates a trap.
- Spirit : trigger chance of the spirit effect is 100% on your pet.
- Signet : (the active form is already for the pet but nothing for the ranger, so) -> the ranger obtains a smaller version of the active form.
- Shout : The effects vary with the family of your pet for more versatility (except Search And Rescue & Protect Me), the buff remains.
Sick ’Em (40% Dmg + 40% speed) :
- Drakes -> Applies “immobilize” to the target for (x) seconds.
- Bears -> The next attack of the pet stuns foe for (x) seconds.
- Porcines -> Charge the foe and throws it for (x) damage.
- Moas -> Each attacks (x seconds) of the pet blinds the foe on (x) radius for (x) seconds.
- Devourers -> Increases the speed attack of the devourer by (x)% for (x) seconds.
- Spiders -> The next attack of the spider applies (x) stack of “confusion”.
- Felines -> Leap at your foe and knock them down for (x) damage, as well as apply “weakness” for (x) seconds.
- Bird -> Each attacks (x seconds) of your bird inflicts “Tourment”.
- Canines -> The next attack of the Ranger marks the foe, your pet can follow and attack him for (x) seconds, even if he is in stealth mode. The next attack of your pet does more damage (x)% if he hits a stealth foe.
- Jellyfish -> The next attack of your pet forces your foe to sink for (x) seconds.
- Shark -> The next attack of the shark dazes foe for (x) seconds.
- Armor Fish -> Attack with his tail for (x) damage and inflicts “weakness” and “infirmity” for (x) seconds.
Guard (Protection for the pet, 10s) :
- Drakes -> Gives ‘Protection’ for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Bears -> Increases the vitality of you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Porcines -> Gives an improvised weapon for you and your allies in the AoE.
- Moas -> Increases the healing power for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Devourers -> Poisons the foes that hit you or your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Spiders -> Creates a ground of webs that gives ‘Stability’ for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Felines -> When your pet is hit, gives ‘Fury’ for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Bird -> Increases the precision for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
- Canines -> Gives ‘Aegis’ for you and your allies in the AoE for (x) seconds.
