Forum checklist for HOT release
I completely agree with all of the above.
It’s not necessarily rangers that start screaming OP. It’s usually players maining other profs. When taunt went live, most complaints were coming from high mmr players after they got wrecked. There’s nothing we can really do about this.
If something turns out to be actually overpowered a nerf should be well thought out and not happen as some weird hotfix after two days.
You would think so…

It’s hysterical this comes up. You know for a kitten fact that people are going to instantly claim druid to be OP. It’s going to be a community rage moment the instant a ranger exists in HoT, regardless of anything.
- Ranger might potentially feel a lot stronger which might overwhelm some ranger players and make them initially feel “too strong”. Keep this effect in mind when posting.
I feel this right here happens a lot for Rangers, I’ve kind of switched over to PvP/WvW roam on my mesmer and it is in a different class than ranger, so I believe people who only main rangers feel over whelmed/wrong when something good comes around as they have no bar to tell what is good or bad.

Please don’t randomly say my name in your posts. Its distracting! you aren’t talking to me!

If anything is going to be OP, it’s going to be Chronomancer:

First watch that video so you know what Rangers should compare to.
That said, We Heal as One was pretty OP. ANet completely destroying it within a day was the problem. I don’t understand why game companies do it, they can’t do a normal nerf to bring something down a notch, they always nerf to the point of non-existence.
