Fractals builds for rangers
Drop S&R for QZ… it barely works and with QZ you are able to rez a fallen mate much faster than your pet ever will (not to mention the other obvious benefits that come with that skill).
Stomp for PĂken [PS]

Not to mention half the time the pet just runs over and t-bags the downed player and doesn’t actually rez them lol
Everything works as long as you can survive, some builds will do more DPS than others tho.
I used to run similar build, except swap S&R with spike traps. I wear full power/precision/conditional dmg armor from AC. Traits 20/30/15/0/5.
Don’t really see big numbers but lots of conditional dmg ticks. (poison, fire, bleeds). It works great for me for FOTM <10.
However, after fotm 10 I started to die alot from agony. (still no ring after so many runs). And getting close to boss to throw traps is really a pain. For some reason, the further you are from the boss the less chances you get hit by agony. I change my utilities to QZ, Signet of renewal, fire traps/Lightning reflex (depends on whether the boss is easy to get close to to throw traps). I used signet of renewal cause I change my healing skill to troll ungent and hence lack a conditional removal. Healing spring heals for more but it forces you to stay on one spot to get the full effects, and I don’t think it affects pets too unless they are beside you. And I hate the fact that boss always cast their red AOE ring at the same spot as your healing spring zzzzzzz. Its like they do it on purpose.
The new build works great so far, didn’t die as much as before. Still using my old armor and traits though, cause I’m still experimenting on the utilities. Probably will change them once I settle which utilites I will use.
P.S would also appreciate some advice onexperience players out there. Thanks.

Honestly, the best advice is to master the dungeon. Get to know what each mob/boss does and you’ll pretty much do well with any build. Every single agony hit is “easy” to avoid and everything can be dodged except Jade Maw agony.
Even tho, unless you really love to use traps and have a condition build, I really don’t advice it for dungeons.

No love for S&R? Yes it is buggy, but I have at least a 90% success chance on it. First off, your pet has to be alive. Second, make sure its within its search range of the target (the closer the better) I usually kite over to the downed player, pet swap then tell it to S&R, and continue kiting past to keep the big baddies from dropping AOE’s on my pet. If able I’ll hop back over and help rez after my pet has done most of the work.
But there are still a few times my pet just stands there. Would love to see S&R moved as a buff onto either the target (closest downed or dead player to pet) or added as a buff on the pet to make it constantly look for players to revive (possibly reviving more then one) Instead of a one shot, and if it bugs, its a wasted cooldown.
Used to run with QZ but spike damage was less beneficial to aoe and condition damage in my opinion. And pet swap quickness is just as good, without the minor drawback. Actually found myself using S&R, reviving the same player, then popping QZ (insane rez speed from completely dead) more often then I was spiking damage with QZ.
