Hi,

I just finished my ascended armor and weapons, and need to start working on my ascended trinkets (viper’s). From what I’ve read, the best ways to get these are by doing fractals, and by completing the LW3 maps. But is either one of these two methods substantially quicker or easier than the other?

I really just want to finish my gear so I can finally focus on the content (and eventually learn to raid). Thx!

You can’t buy viper stats equip from the fractal’s merchant. If you want a “semi-legendary” trinket (ring, back and amulet) you can take https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Blood_Ruby_Band etc, wich can reset stats with https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bloodstone_Capacitor

I got mine within 2 days with 9 characters.

Bitterfrost Frontier is imo, the fastest way to get viper’s trinkets if you have multiple characters. Just log on to different toons and gather the winterberries.

Got my other earring from Ember Bay, logged onto different toons doing the Dailies and Heart Vendors (resets daily).

You can turn that into;

You can of course, do PvP and get the ascended trinkets there during PvP Seasons.
When I decided to make my full viper’s set it was off season (and I’ve used all my pvp shards from S5 to get my full set of zealot trinkets).

If your are half decent at pvp do it.
You get ascended shard + new map’s token (from tracks).
Then gather some new map’s token that you dont Need and breack them for unbound magic.
Is a Pretty fast way

Edit: you can also gather new map’s token while queing for pvp making it more efficent
Edit2: for gathering use the tools the give you also unbound magic at every hit

Fastest way is IMHO the Bitterfrost map for two rings (attune one of them), one accessory and backpiece.
Bloodstone Fen or Lake Doric map for amulet and Ember bay map for the second accessory.

If you will grind those maps daily with several characters (there is daily limit how much you can harvest daily in Bloodstone Fen and Lake Doric maps), you will have complete Ascended set of trinkets during several days.
