Complete build (2/5/4/3/0)

I play mainly solo pve but run dongeons and fractals on occasion (I switch to 4/5/5/0/0 when I do).

Traits and runes make stacking might ok for me(I easily get 5-8 in a quick fight and can keep it up with more mobs) but mostly, my pets benefits more from it (they get 10-15 stacks, the longer the fight, the more they get). Rune of the pack seems to give me the best results stats wise and I like the procs it gives me.

I like traps, I used to play condi + traps and speced for ground target + enlarged traps which was nice (you had more control over the placement). But, since I switched from shortbow + longbow for sword + torch and shortbow, the ground target isn’t required. I use Spiced steak and quality tunin crystal for a little boost to condi and power.

I don’t see many people running with a torch, which I find odd since it’s very good. All I see is builds with warhorn. I don’t really like like the warhorn to be honest, so my opinion might be biased. I use bonfire mainly for the condi damage, but it also serve as a might stack builder since each tick has a chance to proc might with the sigil of strenght. My pet (River drake) can also trigger an aoe might with Tail Swipe, which is nice and has good survivability (and it’s not a bear…).

I’m mainly using the shortbow to get out of melee range or to keep the poison going and stack bleeding. You can also keep moving with the bow, which is harder to do with the sword.

Then the traps are just for cc, frost trap + spike trap. Too bad the combo fields aura don’t last longer.

What are you thoughts? I see alot of people claiming Spotter and Frost Spirit are a must have (well, maybe not the frost spirit now). Again, it’s just a different build, have you ever tested this kind of build?
