No, he’s got a point. Given the way the autoattack skill rotations work (don’t roll over to next skill until you hit something or skill times out), I can see this being a bona fide bug/unintended behavior. I’ll have to test it next time I’m playing.
It has been like that since the game launched. Actually, it’s like that with every chain-skill. I.e. you can use the skill a second time if it didn’t connect the first time.
So before you complain about something with ranger that is global over all professions, think about how it would affect other profession-chains and the like (backstab for example)

I like how everyone seems to be testing every single ranger skill to find the bug/flaw that we’re exploiting to be so powerful now.
I’m just waiting for them to find out that Ranger has Fear that can last for 13 seconds.

Always been like that and it’s never been a problem.
Why would it be? By definition to do this you can’t do it as well as doing any damage so it’s not a huge advantage. It’s not much different to S/D thieves being able to spam #3 to evade 4+ times in a row, plus their 3 dodges than means a S/D thief can evade for 5 solid seconds without even any vigour or use of any utilities. Is that a problem? No. Because they only way they can do it is by deliberately not hitting a target with Flanking Strike.
It’s a not a bug, it’s how Chain skills have always worked. They don’t move to the next skill in the chain until the current skill hits (to to prove this is working as intended, thats exactly why they changed the thief S/D #3 to behave like that when it didn’t before).

Name calling really, when you come to the ranger sub forum basically looking for confrontation. So you found some interaction between an auto attack change and the way the game system handle misses, not really a low hanging fruit, so will be more trouble than it is worth to alter.
So forgive me for answering you with the kind of reaction you and your warrior brethren visit on perceived, let alone real attack. Are you so desperate to see any negative adjustments to the ranger that you had to resort to that finding.
So look at what you post (not just here) to see why you get the reception that you got here. Do with that what you want.
The reason people how are reacting this way is because we are a mixture of amused, frustrated and confused by the fact that, since RF was buffed, people have suddenly come out with a pile of other OP things Rangers have. Since the patch I’ve seen complaints about traps, pets, range and now this all being “OP”… and yet none of these things have even changed in the last year or even since launch.
It’s just amasing to us that as soon as one of our skills becomes top tier people find all these other completely unrelated things that a wrong and in need of nerfs, even though a week ago these very same things were all part of why were the lowest of the low classes.

Rangers are the melee evade specialist class. Not a bug.
I do this on accident all the time.
