Guild Wars 2

So my go to since I’ve started playing this game has been LB power ranger, it’s probably the only build I’m decent at. I’ve been running GS on my swap for the block and mobility. I feel as tho my sword, while not as easy or straight forward, has more potential. Thoughts?

GS is better for mobility and defensive spiky (maul) combat.
Sword is better for kiting around and is usually taken with dagger on LB Zerk builds.

Both have uses but are used for completely different play-styles.

Equally good, just different. I definitely recommend giving sword a try if you’re not familiar with it.

You can experiment with non-dagger offhands to create entirely new builds as well, although that may limit how effective you are in PvP. You might want to do your experimenting in WvW or a duel server. Things like cele or rabid LB + S/T or complete glass S/A.
