Is it just me or when I get roots cast on me preventing me from moving I can’t turn around nor can I even target the roots to destroy them. I had one of those big elemental trees root me the other day and I could target the roots but not attack them as if they were behind me yet I couldn’t even turn around. All I could do was wait it out and keep attacking the elemental tree.

Cant free yourself from roots with a ranged weapon. A bug? Who knows

It’s a known bug. If you get rooted from behind, you’ll be unable to target the roots because they’re behind you. The only option is to AoE.

On the other hand, it’s awesome when it happens to other people via our Entangle elite.

Another option is to use a condition removal on the immobilize then roll out of the roots real fast. The roots themselves seem to work by applying a 1 second immobilize every second you’re standing in them, so as long as you end your condition early, you can walk out.
