Ok,first of all please people that think this build is bad or dont have guts to play like this stay out of this topic,I’m trying to help out peepz that want the real diips,thank you.
So basically this build is pretty standard,good in PvE and mainly focused on WvW.I would say – yes u die fast if another glasscannon is on you and u can’t play it right,BUT when u get used to it u can deal INSANE DMG to any target in 4-6 sec span and afterwards.I used Ruby Orbs before,testing Scholar now going well,basically if u gonna stay in a group in WvW or zerg Scholar is better because u are in the backlines and u wont get focused that much,this is where the build has its glory,for roaming Scholar is fine but if u go below 90%,Ruby Orbs give u +4% crit chance/4% crit dmg in that situation,so u can decide for urself.I run LB/SB in WvW atm SB mainly for finishing a target thats runing with cripple/daze and good close range dmg,u can use GS too its really good for chasing/escape.Sigil of Fire IMO is absolutely amazing on this build,u do MASSIVE dmg on defenses with Barrage and the aoe crit dmg is really nice.Food – squash soup 8% crit dmg 80 precision(because crit is not that high with scholar 51-53% no buff)and sharpening stone for some power.Thiefs are a problem if they’re good,but aren’t they for all classes?if they make a mistake u can 3 shot a glass thief.http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fMQQJATVjIVB2FWSWgWCg1j9CsvuA2DDPkRvgBUB-j0xAYLgkXR0YLqFRjVtgpKXUtyFwbwoVDA-w enjoy

Probably for the “diips”. I think sharpened edges with full zerk is like another 400 dps with zero condition damage or condition duration. It’s a sigil of earth basically, in a trait…I think it’s a base 2s bleed.

Why not dragon’s breath bun? I dunno about squash soup man. Need more POWA!

I’d mix in some valkyrie and take strenght of spirit…

I don’t understand why you went with signet of stone and the pet +30% damage on crits. How about sun spirit instead of SoS and taking moment of clarity instead of pet’s prowess?

Oh yeah, also not sure about the nature spirit if your going full glass cannon.

I use Protect me not SoS and RoA not nature spirit,didn’t update it sorry,I dont take moment of clarity because quick draw is essential for LB/SB

I’m not sure why you would go all berserker, when you can have a much more balanced build with some soldier gear, while only losing a little critical chance and critical damage in return:

I’ve calculated it with exotic trinkets,with ascended gear + food its about 114% crit dmg,I think thats plenty.

Is there a cap on crit damage at 100%? Always wondered if I was wasting it by going higher.

You can have MoC and Quick draw if you drop pet’s prowess. since you don’t have a strong pet build, extra stun/daze time and attacks of opportunity seem like a better deal than the pet crit. Or does the pet work well for you in that build?

Also sun spirit is quite the damage boost. I find once you have to use PM in a glass build you are most likely going to die anyway.

Crit damage isn’t enough till its maxed, not glassy enough.

I’m still figuring how to utilise pets in WvW it depends on the situation,if im defending I’ll use them on passive moa/bear for condi removal/fury buff, If I’m roaming cat/moa or cat/bear so I’m still trying to figure out whats the best of those traits,oh trust me PM is very useful.

I assume so, because it would simply be weird to have 100% as a maximum on one stat, yet not on another. Design wise, it makes sense to either have 100% as a maximum across all stats, or have over 100% on all stats.

I red alot of posts and all said that there is cap in spvp not normally.Crit dmg% is unlimited

but agility training means your pet hits more… which is extra damage… companions might means your pets hits for more… which is extra damage

- also i didnt realise that the link wasnt using asc stuff (or the food you mentioned in OP)… but heres my ranger anyway

Crit damage isn’t capped. You can’t double crit, so if you want to look at it like a cap, then crit chance is capped at 100%.

I hate to tell ya, but this has WAAAYY higher attack (almost 4k with stacks) along with higher toughness and vitality. It gets even better with full ascended

Looking at his buff bar (above his skill 6-0 bar) it shows he has 25 stacks. It has to be power, and since he is maxing, its Superior Sigil giving +250 Power. He is also using a Legendary so yes, with Ascended Stats.

Im using that in wvw atm absolutely chopping ppl heads with 25 bloodlust stacks 3-4k normal hit crits even higher on uplevel
