Glyph of Rejuvenation not healing pet?
All ranger healing skills should heal the pet as well. If they don’t, that would be a bug and should be reported as such.
It heals the pet as Secondary Target.
Which means it heals the pet for less in normal mode and for more in CAF mode.
I think it shouldn’t. I find it as a bug.
All heals should heal the pet for the Ranger amount.
If there are 4 other players near you the pet will not be healed. It treats the pet the same way it would a minion meaning that unlike every other heal skill the effects do NOT copy onto the pet and the pet has second to last priority for receiving the healing. Its probably why I will never use this skill haha.
Goes to show how many craps they give about the pet being a terrible mechanic. I seriously wish we didn’t have a pet at all. But if I’m forced to have it, at least let it be any good.
Don’t know about that, maybe it is intended? Sure, pet won’t get healed if there are 5 (I think it actually heals 5 allies plus yourself) allies around you, but if there aren’t pet would get both heals (initial and aoe). And let’s be honest, if you use the glyphe, you are running druid and that means you got enough aoe heal to keep your pet alive because no matter which build you are using you will have CA.

They won’t. They’ll only get healed as a secondary target. Not as a Ranger.

If you are playing druid and healing your pet – you let one of the players die. Because pet being targeted means a player being not. The heals are capped by number of targets, too.

What I actually meant is if the skill would work like the guys in here want it to do, then pet would get double heal if there are not 5 allies around you. The initial heal (which everyone in here wants to make it work like all other ranger heals) and the aoe heal.
And like I already said: the glyphe says that you will heal 5 allies with it. So the pet is already in mind I guess, because you will heal the 4 members of your party and your pet (= 5 allies).
Skills are balanced around the standard group size of 5 members. And the skill has that in mind.

I don’t think its a bug, but I do think its something that ought to be changed. Being able to heal your pet at will is kind of important for a Ranger, and without a built-in pet heal Glyph of Rejuvenation just doesn’t offer that sort of healing potential. Its too conditional. It requires you to be in melee range of your pet, not be in a large group of people (since the heal prioritizes players over pets), and even then its really low healing potential unless you’re in Celestial Avatar.
Heck, if “double healing” your pet is really that big a concern (I don’t really think it is personally, since the non-Avatar heal is low anyway, and in avatar form you have plenty of other heals) then I’d gladly have the pet exempted from the AoE heal in exchange for just a flat heal of the same power as the Ranger himself gets.
