Hi, I’ve been looking for a good set of armour for my human ranger. After looking through most sets, I’ve noticed most medium armours are suited best for theives, and engineers (in my opinion). But what armour really suits a ranger

Nightmare Court and Armor of Koda both have a rangery feel to them IMO. I think the gemstore Krytan armor is just pretty sweet. And I personally love the centurion look of the ascended armor. I am a heavily melee ranger, so it feels like it fits with a sort of special forces type skirmisher.

Yeah for human I’d definitely get either T3 cultural armor, or the gemstrore krytan armor, which is really cool if you played guild wars 1.

My ranger is sylvari so TA/cultural are my only choices lol.

I would say ascalonian armor from Ascolonia catacombs dungeon looks extremely rangery in a very traditional sense.

Human t2 and t3 cultural look nice too.

Vipers armor in the gem store is a high quality skin that has nice refelctions and textures in the gem store as well, very rangery looking

This is what my ranger looks like atm, it’s not a human, but i’d imagine it’d look good on a Human Either way.

Medium armors tend toward thief/engineer looks. Viper, Strider’s, and Human T3 are the only sets that give off an engineer vibe without mix and match. I used to run Human T3 with a Thief’s hood.

These were some of the nicer ones I found on my journey. Not too hard to get.

It’s too bad Heritage isn’t available to everyone. The T2 chest is pretty nice. I hadn’t thought of that.

Love the heritage. I wore that for over a year.

yea, koda is a reasonable fill in for it imo.

A female Norn was wearing Cultural Armor with a Thief hood from the personal story choice.

It was dyed green and was the perfect combination. A lot of people overdo their armor sets with too much magical clutter in their gear. Like the wings on the back.

Boots are human cultural tier 3. Gloves are from Twlight Arbor. Whatever tokens those are.

I use the whisper boots instead though.
