First remove the evade from the 3rd chain attack..
Swoop as it is only now leaves a mark at the place you started
Every 3rd attack a buff opens that allows you to return to where the mark was from Swoop..

The idea is a risk/reward skill to a glassy power build..If you fail to deliver 3 attacks you wont be able to escape..
You go in deliver a Hilt-Maul combo 3 attacks and then you withdraw to safety to continue attacking with the Longbow..

Its a thiefy skill but i think it will opens more power builds..

Maul is the hardest hitting skill in the game for Rangers..Its a waste to play totally defensively

Then don’t? Maul, Swoop, Counter Attack, and Crippling Throw all hit with some serious damage behind them, and any one of them hurt more than any other Ranger weapon, but, The Greatsword also has an evade in GS#1, a movement skill in GS#3, Blocks in Gs#4. It also has a knockback and a stun. You should learn to use the Defensive and Offensive parts of the weapon together, because there is almost nothing that can stop you if you do. Trying to make the weapon 100% damage is not going to make it a better weapon, neither is adding a gimmick like what you suggested.

The weapon skills are fine.

We just need a way of accessing all its traits and EB.

DPS should be on par with the sword (cause it is a defensive weapon too).

I don“t care how! they will buff it.
But i dislike two things.

1. “rnd” evade=useless for defensive OR useless for dmg
2. useless AA Chain if u want to do dmg

Avoiding dmg should be active gameplay, always.

You guys dont you get that by making the defensive ability more active you are increasing the defensiveness?
The 1 chain attack is kinda random, you can make it more controlable by removing autoattack but still its kinda meh imo..

1 does no great dmg..All i want when i play with Greatsword is go in, deliver a maul and then go back..
I dont feel that staying in melee and autoattacking its better than staying max range with longbow or autoattacking with the Sword..

Hilt bash needs a buff, can’t hit nothing.

Would be nice if it’s faster and a bit larger range doesnt it.
And if the change is Your next attack does **% more damage. My pets attack is going to miss it’s target by 100 yards anyway.

Please do not remove evade from the attack chain.

Please add a blast finisher to Maul (See guardian hammer skill NO.2 Might Blow) or to hilt bash.

FSP: Ranger – Rethika. Guardian – Rethical, Warrior – Taym Ah
