Does the reduction in damage also apply towarsd you, as well with allies?

Is a Warrior just a pet without a Ranger?

tested it against some bots in hotm, and it does affect you as far as i could tell

Druid main, 80 on all, Legendary ranked, Eternal and all that jazz (I go by Feyris in game)
