Yea, don’t bother with the video this happened to me today aswell.
Some Deso guys were doing the same thing when they were losing the fights, but I’m surprised that around 10 of them were doing the same thing.
It must be some new exploit, so this isn’t quite ranger related.

I’m rather amazed that there’s still even possible to exploit and hack in this game. How can client side, third party programs do stuff like these – how can any client side changes actually make it into the game?
That’s the big question, and that’s a huge, huge fail from Anet. Most of us have seen so many examples of stuff like this it’s not even funny. Most common would be the pve hacks, like teleporting from nodes and stuff like that.

Possibly. Teleporting hacks works in regular pve, I’ve seen that happen so many times, I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work in pvp as well.
No idea on the how. I’ve just got some pretty good evidence of the what. People who are doing this need to be banned. I can’t tell you how much I hate stuff like that.
Yeah the game is pretty kittentily made.
There isn’t even a ‘report hacking/gliching’ feature… in a game where you can lol-glich-teleport around all day in TPvP if you really want to.

Why would you be amazed by that? if you know anything about computers in general then it should be that nothing is completely secure, freaking banks get hacked and if there is anyone it shouldn’t be possible to hack it’s them.
a possibility could be that he got cloaked from traits normally and then maybe jumped off that cliff in the bk ground?

I saw a SoR player literally fly into a tower and then jump put and run away last week. It happened so fast I never reported it. JQ had the tower in question, so, yeah, I guess if you’re going to cheat and can’t clip, the only other option is to fly in.

And why would GW2 be unhackable? Even in WoW there are hackers. You don’t see them much, coz they get banned fast and ppl don’t want to waste account they pay for. Best example can be teleporting to glags in WSG.

You’re right… I just went back to double check it. Still doesn’t explain how he cloaked in the first place.
I’m pretty sure there’s software you can use so script kiddies can hack but they’re dumb because they’re going to get a nice, fresh banhammer.
Those talking about bank hacks, othre games being hacked, etc. should stop. Most of you, like most of the world, have no clue what allows something to be hacked. As such, talking about it doesn’t do you or anyone else any favors. At best, it does nothing. At worst, it spreads misinformation.

We’re not claiming to be genius hackers just that it happens even in places you’d think should be completely safe from it.
It was meerly a response that it shouldn’t surprise anyone that it’s possible in computer games aswell to the guy that was.
