Q:
Could someone tell me what kind of increase I would expect on passive regeneration per 100 healing added to my build.
Specific Regen Values in Question I am thinking of are
- Signet of the Wild (Value 62)
- Doylak Rune 6 ability (Value 30)
- Rejuvination (5 pointer from Nature Magic/no value indicated)
Currently running High Toughness Build and want to get a sense of return on adding more Healing to raise the passive regen values
A:
all your question can be answered by visiting the wiki for each skill
1. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Signet_of_the_Wild 7% to you 25% for pet
2. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Rune_of_the_Dolyak no effect
3. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Rejuvenation_ is just a http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Regeneration so 12.5%
Great question….because I was also curious what specific regens Natures Bounty worked on.
I currently get precise delve on the values with ZERO additional healing….and from what I gather I question if Rejuvination from the Nature line is even working. Is it a constant regen when below 75%or is it a 5 second one that triggers at 75%…
Each healing skill get its own % of healing power. You can easily know it in mists, by using cleric stuff, for example, and seeing the %.
For example, according to the wiki: “each point of Healing Power adds 0.125 healing for Regeneration, 0.06 healing for Rejuvenation”
The Regen you get from Nature’s line is around 10 Seconds long If I recall, it doesn’t have a cooldown either..If you go below 75% life, and then come back above 75%, then drop again, It will add to the duration of Regen.
Signet and Nature’s Healing from Beastmastery are healing me for around 150 Each with 1200+ Healing Power.
So 300 HP regen going at all times, with the one that procs below 75% that stacks with them, so 600+ at that point.
Thanks Xsorus, sent you another PM. =)

natures healing from beastmastery is a flat value. 133 if you don’t have pet healing improved 166 if you do I think it is. Right in that area.
The signet starts at around 64 and goes in a max heal build to high 130’s or low 140’s.
Regenerations no plus healing around 154 or 145 to start and cap at right around 297 in tpvp healing gear options.
Easy way to test is just go to hotm and let the engineer beat on you as you adjust + heal values and by isolating which heals are active at each time.
Give me a second, and i’ll tell you the exact values of healing gear vs non healing gear
Healing Gear
Natural Healing -Player 142/Pet – 125
Regen – 307 Player
Signet – Player 147/Pet -459
DPS Gear
Natural Healing – Pet 125/Player 142 (Healing doesn’t effect this, However Compassion Training Does, it’ll kick in and increase the player heal to 181)
Signet – Pet 200/Player – 86 (Healing Gear Doubles this almost) Compassion Training Doesn’t effect this.
Regen – 180
so to get the most out of it, use Compassion Training in your first slot, and wear healing gear.
edit
Some more testing
Nature’s Lines Regen at 5 Points has got a 30 Second Internal Cooldown, and last 7 seconds with the 33% regen tactic (I should probably check to see if that even works)
Anyway, Other interesting thing, It auto procs once you’re below 75% life, you don’t have to go above then back below, If you’re under 75% life, it will proc automatically.
edit
33% Regen tactic adds 2 seconds to that regen So it does actually work.

Any thoughts on Oakheart vs Bark Skin …both good, neither or one of them ?

Both are good, I’d use them if I could fit them in my build.
Empathetic bond strumps both of them.
You could make the Argument of getting oakheart over offhand mastery…..but that’d be a real hard sell for me..Maybe if you used Great Sword instead…. I could see picking it up.
Natural Healing – Pet 125/Player 142 (Healing doesn’t effect this, However Compassion Training Does, it’ll kick in and increase the player heal to 181)
Are you sure about this? I just tested it and Compassion Training had no effect on player regen from Natural Healing.

On my asura I get 133 and 169, however unlike prepatch when the 169 was all the time it seems to come only out of combat and even then not all the time anymore. Interesting.
Yea only pops in combat, your pet actually has to be hitting the target
