Health of each pet family
Each point of vitality is equal to 10 health points. So multiple every pet’s vitality by 10 and you have your answer. As for the other stuff, I guess you can figure that out fairly easily with some addition and division.
is it that simple ?? i know each class has basic health and then added vitality . I thought it was the same for pets
Yeah it is very simple, they don’t have base HP like normal characters, but the values are kinda high, like a cat/bird pet have around 20k HP, and they are the ones with the lowest HP.
For crit rate you just divide the precision by 21 (if you are at lvl 80) and you get he crit rate.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)
Compared to players pets have SIGNIFICANTLY higher HP cough cough ~50k HP bears lol

the main reason for this is because pets tend to not get out of range of things that could murder them. because of this, everybody felt they were extremely squishy. they’ve hit a “Just right” sort of point right now where it feels like they’re average even though they’re tanky for pets.
Here are the real values. I copied it from the April Patch notes. No more guessing^^
Pet Attributes
Adjusted health and/or armor of ranger pets:
Ursine pets: health increased from 26,000 to 29982; armor is now 2061 (up 687). Polar bear’s power now matches that of all other bear pets.
Dogs: health increased from 13,000 to 14,868; armor is 2061 (no change).
Cats: health increased from 13,000 to 14,868; armor is 1374 (no change).
Devourers: health increased from 11,089 to 14868; armor is 2748 (no change).
Birds: health increased from 11,894 to 14,868; armor is 1374 (no change).
Drakes: health increased from 11,683 to 22,425; armor is 2061 (no change).
Spiders: health increased from 18,646 to 22,425; armor is 1374 (no change).
Pigs: health increased from 20,538 to 22,425; armor is now 2061 (up 687).

So tel me, is that the TOTAL health or basic health then we add vitality ?
So tel me, is that the TOTAL health or basic health then we add vitality ?
I’d imagine that’s total, since health is (if I’m correct) based entirely off vitality IE: Necro will have more base vitality than a thief or ranger.

It has to be base health figures, so add another 3000health for a full BM pet ontop of that.

Nope. Vitality is always 10HP per point.
Yes, it is listed that drakes have 3000+ vitality, which would total over 30000 hitpoints . But you said that their total hp is 22000 . Kind of makes no sense
I have to agree that it is very strange with the vitality. I did a test today with the wolf. Used no regeneration and 0 in beastmastery and let a mob hit him til he was dead. He received around 14k damage. My heal as one healed around 50% of his HP with 6520 heal. So I really guess wolves have the listed 14868 life even though they have 2061 vitaility what is really weird.
I did the test three times so I guess the listed values should be correct.
So , in essence, the pet statistic sheet lies . Drakes have a listed 3500 vitality which would translate into 35000 health . But they only have 22000+ BM bonus , for example .
Srsly, wtF?

Or pets scale differently with Vitality than players do, it’s not out of the question seeing as how phantasms scale differently with vit and toughness as well.

It would be very welcome to know exactly how much health and armor pets have , as in a display of the health value in the pet sheet
I agree fully with the above statement.

We ever figure out why the stats are working differently for pets, like drakes should have 30k hp….yet are sitting at 24k?

Ok, near as I can tell, vitality is good for 5.5hp on a pet, with a base health of 3532.5. I set up a system of equations using drakes and feline health. Solving for that gave those numbers, which gave me the correct health when I plugged those values in for bears.
So a bear has 4809*5.5 + 3532.5 = 29982 health. That means 30 in beastmastery gives your pet an additional 1,650 health. Doesn’t seem like much.
It seems odd they’d have different stats for our pets.

Yeah i agree with this… this also may explain why our pets don’t scale off of our stats lol, when they’ve got wonky coefficients for their own god knows what’d happen if they’d get some of ours too xD

Only if you assume that they have some coherent pattern of thought. Once you throw out that notion, it all makes perfect sense.
