Guild Wars 2

I’m trying to make a PvE ranger. The build theme is bird assault.

I’m a Norn, so Call Owl is in. I’ll be using Rune of the Flock, so heal as one seems like a good choice. One weapon set will have a warhorn for Hunter’s Call, and I’ll probably use various bird pets as my pet.

Traits anyone?

Greatsword “swoop” = bird affect. Raven elite would work too but you lose your pet while in it…. BM would be helpful. 30 in WS is a must for every ranger….

If you can afford it Rune of the Mad King’s 6 bonus for elite skill use is like aoe Hunter’s Call, it looks awesome and does some tasty damage.

Trait wise it’s up to you really as it depends on your play style, at least 5 points in BM is a must though, that quickness is too good.

I used to run a semi condition build with Mad King Runes.

Entangle + Mad Kings Runes = 1963 Hitchc(o)cks’s ‘The Birds’ /w tons of damage.
