Help to create my ranger build.
Greetings my friend.Welcome to the world of top level Rangers.
Its kinda easy to build a survival-condi Ranger since you boost some of your toughness with traits(toughness is in the same line with cond dmg trait line)..So you are in the right way imo.
Shortbow nowdays its number 1 weapon whatever build you are running and the most reliable Ranged option for any kind of dmg.But i would advise you to use Torch instead of Warhorn.
Also i saw that you bought a Shaman amulet. It gives some healing power too.Heres my though and my very enjoyable build in sPvP.
Choose the Beastmaster trait line and use jaguar-raven as pet. They do a lot of dmg.
So in the end boost Condi dmg-Healing power and toughness for survival.Pick some undead runes,5% of your toughness will become cond dmg,and here you go.Its my favourite build in PvP but i dont know how it works in PvE..Im hard to die in PvP since i got like 3k armor and i geuss it would be hard to die in PvE too. Also the healing helps in the survival.
You will have low hp tho.
In skills singet of the wild will help you and your pet (mostly your pet) to stay alive and the others are kinda optional depends in your playstyle. Many use QZ,many use Sharpening Stone, others prefer entragle, other Rampange as One..
I hope i helped you a little..
Thank you for the fast answer.
About the set, should I still going with Shaman or mix to something with Toughness status?
Depends.if you want to take Undead runes, pick toughness,if you want to build vitality pick other runes and i geuss it will be fine. You can build vitality instead of toughness for survival. It was just an idea
I am thinking about toughness and maintain the healing power… so going to undead rune to boost my condition damage output.
If my HP get too low, I will balance it on jewelry picking a lil Vitality on them. What do you think?
How much HP is good ? 16.000?
Yes 16000 is good with a lot of toughness.Armor decrease the dmg taken from hits..In condition dmg armor doesnt matter,so a large Health pool is a way to defend. Also theres some skills removing conditions, its an another way to defend against conditions. To be honest from my experience in PvE ive never had a prob with conditions..and i dont even choose healing sprint.i choose the cond removal signet and im ok.
But you fill a slot with a defensive skill while you can fill it with a offensive one…I think tho that Rangers are lacking of offensive skills but its another story
0/0/30/10/30 +Healing / +Condition 16k HP Bunker with high dmg
Or
30/30/5/0/5 Bow Ranger High single target control
Anything in between can work as long as you have fun!
