So fellow rangers, has anyone actually managed to kill that shadowy hell hole known as Liadra (or w/e her name is) on their ranger? I’ve tried, and tried, and tried, and tried, but i just can’t do it due to my pet being dead 100% of the fight (ok 99.9999999% he is alive long enough to kill the first orb) and was wondering if anyone had tips.
PS: I get to the second phase almost every single time without any issue, but just can not put out enough damage to kill her, i normally get her to a miserable 75% health before time either is about to run out, or i die (same thing really).
I managed to get her to 1% 3 times out of 30 tries but I just couldn’t do it. Switched to my condition engi and did it in 1 go.
Yeah, it’s kinda BS, like if I had my thief, or necro, or engi, or mes at lv 80 and geared I would’ve dropped her by now.
I’ve even tried going 30/30/10 and still can’t scratch the kittening kitten… Wtb pets immune to AoE….
Yep, a good chunk of our DPS is the pet, and if the pet can’t dodge and gets slaughtered… well, thanks Anet.
I did it, and while the pet was alive for the ~6sec of Signet of Stone, the dps was really noticeable (got her to 50% in that time). If you could have the pet alive for the entire fight, this boss would have been way easier.
Lol I was too busy in wvw testing the new remorseless trait so I’m only on tier 2 bosses. Maybe I’ll give it a go tonight, but this thread is sounding a little negative so I’ll just stay away from here until I see what she’s all about myself.
Based on what I’ve read about her mechanics, I’m already thinking offhand axe and bear.
