My ranger is still in the upper 40’s so I won’t be getting to the GM traits anytime soon…was wondering how that new heal on the pet f2 was working out? Will going 30 down the line be worth it for it…or is it useless?

So far from what I’ve tested, there seems to be a cool down for it. Roughly 15-20 seconds. Favoring the 20 second one.

I tested with Eagle Lacerating Slash since it has like a 6 second cool down and I was hoping for a heal every 6 seconds haha.

It also scales off of your healing, not your pets. At 777 Healing, it heals you and allies in small area for 1,871. Not sure what the limit for the heal is on targets.

Not sure I like it yet, but would be interesting to see a BM Bunker or something use it. I want to play around with this trait for a while.

It scales based on your own healing and not your pet’s?

That makes no sense, but and yet it makes me want it even more. My Ranger is healing based.

It makes sense if you ask me, just like Vigorous Training scaling off of YOUR boon duration not your pets, it’s just an affect that happens when X action is performed, it’s not your pet performing said action.

From what i saw in PvP when i glanced at the trait (haven’t gotten to use it yet) is that the heal is 2k in an area, which is pretty freaking good for a 20s CD ability, not to mention that if you pair that thing with a Fern Hounds F2 or a Moas Harmonic Cry that’s a LOT of AoE healing.

its basically a 20hp/s heal vs the 44 hp/s heal that Natural Healing is..However its AOE so it works on others.

I’d probably run it though over the old Natural healing, as its a bigger burst heal.

Seems to be a 1482 base heal with 0.5 scaling with your healing power.

So it’s not a tiny, little pitiful heal then. Think it’s worth investing the 30 points into BM and not picking up Zephyr’s Speed or Natural Healing? Having another heal every 20sec or so sounds really tempting

Natural Healing will heal for more on you and your pet (just FYI) so if all you want is survivability for you and your pet keep that, however Invigorating Bond is ALSO AoE, so it has a lot more group utility (healing wise) than the other two.

Correct…

Basically if you solo more, use Natural Healing, if you’re running in small mans and groups more..Invigorating Bond is good…However remember that it is 360 Radius, so its very small and will be like most Pet heals… very hard to land

Maybe if you’re running with a wild group of PUGs, all I do is yell “my pets healing get close” and boom problem solved.

Moas + Invigorating Bond is stupidly strong in the hands of an organized group, kittening AoE 5k healing potential, pair that with another Moa or a fern hound if you want more CC and good god…

Natural Healing will heal YOU for less than Invigorating Bond.

With 300 healing power (lowest possible to get these traits):

Natural Healing:
2500 health/20 seconds for the pet, 880 health/20 seconds for the player
(125 health/sec for the pet, ~44 health/sec for the player)

Invigorating Bond:
1632 health/20 seconds for you, your pet and allies within reach. This is of course dependant on whether your pets F2 is available and used every 20 seconds.

With my current gear I have 986 healing power, which gives Invigorating Bond a value of 1975 health/20 seconds.

I like the combo of Invigorating Bond and Fern Hound, 2975 aoe heal + regen is pretty nice.

I like to pair it with the Moa, ~2k healing for IB + ~3.3k from the moas Harmonic Cry, pair that with another Moa and you’ve got an AoE 8.6k burst heal potential + fury/protection/a daze (F2s)

You’re right…I’m bad with math don’t know why I was thinking it was 20hp/s
