I’ve done this before without really knowing why or how it happened, but there are times when you can get Ricochet to hit twice on a single target. Does any1 know how to do this? and i’m talking about just a single target. there weren’t any other targets nearby like ambient creatures or neutral to make Ricochet hit twice on a single target.

It can bounce off of non-player objects. One example is the houses in the battle of khylo map.
