I know they nerfed our greatsword damage by 50% after the first BWE, i know they nerfed our shortbow attack rate by 30% some months ago and i know they will never make our traits viable, but now is the time for us to REJOICE!
I waited 6 months for this and Anet finally delivered the long awaited fix!
- Hawk and Eagle now have their own unique icons instead of sharing one.

Thanks to this buff, i got back my confidence when bringing my Ranger to PvE! Even in PvP, people back off just because they heard of this recent buff.
Now, i will be able to swap my birds with full power, while still knowing which one is out! Some of you may say that nothing changed, but that’s wrong! Have a look at the attached screenshot of gw2lfg.com, it happened right after people got hold of the recent, positive gameplay change of Ranger. They finally know what class you should invite if you want to get serious stuff done.
Hell, it’s so intense, my spirits now follow me out of pure respect without trait! Even my pet nomore dares to not lick my wounds when i’m crying for help. And just now in the eternal jumping puzzle, an Ele dared to rush at me, but the Engine’s self protect system kicked in and made his RTL let him fly backwards, away from me!
I’m deeply sorry i misjudged you, Anet, for your recent patches, but this makes me really, really proud beeing a Ranger!
