Hybrid ?
Sinister gear with axe/torch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVQnUXrh0n0 (build specifically for pve)
I would define a hybrid build as one that does near equal damage from both conditions and direct damage, as near as is possible.
Sinister A/T is not really hybrid imo, if you were running S/D-SB or S/T-SB then yes, but A/T is primarily condition damage.
That is just how I think of Hybrid though, doesn’t mean squat.
is it even worth trying for WvW or PVE ? Sinister and Hybrid stuff looks good, especially with SB and S/D on paper, but I don’t know if it does enough damage, I was told full power or full condi is better than a mix of both.
Are those extra condi damage worth the loss of some crit damage ?
Thanks for the replies btw guys

Hybrid build as hybrid can get. WVW roaming build.

SB has less physical damage output than Axe and Less condition amage than Axe/Torch
So A/T are better in both parts than SB condi abd Physical.
I tried that for an Hybrid,
Still hesitate between pack or aristocracy.
and between hidden barb and spotter
What do you think ?
BTW, SB may have less damage output, but it has CC, and evade, and a kittenload of bleed stacking if you place yourself correctly.

WoW, cool. Thanx for the info m8(+1).
Ok another one that looks good to me.

SB does not have less physical dmg output than Axe. I don’t think you are taking aftercast/animation delay and attack speed into consideration.
I have to say it’s hard to tell. Axe is slow, and projectile is slow, and can’t be traited to be faster, and also doesn’t apply any condi, but it bounces on two targets and gives might. on 1v1 situation, SB wins, and maybe (MAYBE) the A/T would win if you have several targets.

A/T will win no worries if played right, because of the burn. If we are talking DPS race. SB has more utility though. Axe is better against multiple mobs too.
