Long time necro here just wanted to pour my sympathy out to you guys and let you know I think it is kittening bullkitten that ranger is last to be released while other specialisations get to go through 3 beta weekends of constructive feedback whereas ranger will have one. I don’t even play ranger and I think this is stupid. Great job anet, letting down your playerbase once again.

Less time for the more vocally disappointed community to voice their disappointments with sub-par content. Of course, this prediction could be completely false and Druid could be amazing…but I am not holding my breath. Only so many times you can get your profession slapped with nerfs and a whole community full of hate because of poor initial design before you just start hoping they fix those huge flaws. But then again, I am responding to a Necro…you know all about that

Thank, it would of made more sense to place a class that is more balanced and in a great place right now last like elementalist . I got a feeling it was meant to be showed earlier but like everything with rangers right now, problems happens but what can you do .

I know…I can’t claim to be naive about the whole situation. I am fully expecting my ranger to be handed a pile of kitten and told I better like it because that’s all she’s getting.

Thanks for your sympathy… some of us have hope… but then again a shred of hope is still outweighed by the metric tons of disappointment

They had an order they followed, your class (unless Engi) was never going to be last. The one that’s giving them the biggest headache is, to be honest I’m looking forward to seeing if all this extra time is going to even be enough for them!

The issue with Druid is that, if it is amazing it will completely overshadow the core profession. But then again, most of the elites already do overshadow their core professions.

The only elite spec I’d wish Rangers had is Chronomancer.

• +25% movement speed,
• -33% cripple/chill/immobilize
• 2s slow every 5 crits
• 3s slow on interrupt
• +30% crit chance on slowed enemies
• Continuum Shift (F5)

At this point, I don’t even care to much about what druid will bring to the game, I probably will skip the launch weekend and go to some semi local festivals/gathering.

So if Anet read this I can only think of one request, view the history of the ranger’s development and changes from launch then apply that approach to the rest of profession and see what happens.

I found this interesting seeing as people were championing F2P for PvP growth, what happens if we find the elites are much better than core professions? You’ve suddenly got a P2W situation on your hands.
