so, what build do you use?
Looks decent for single target, provided they have no form of condition removal. Anything over one person and I think it will lose effectiveness drastically.
Xsorus, i have a question. if you were running something similar but with melee weapons. and you ran a geo sigil on the primary wep for each set, then ran the bleed on crit sigils. The with traits you ran the marksman @ 50% sharpening stone trait along with the skirmish % to bleed on crit.
Would all that stack? because depending on the build that could be a constant 25 bleeds all the time.
You’re wasting an utility slot with that Sharpening Stone in my opinion

Sigils of earth and geomancy share a cooldown. So while sigil of geomancy is cooling down, sigil of earth does nothing.

I’m actually tinkering with a build similar to that right now, still tanky settlers gear and apoth ascendeds, but a 20/10/25/15/0 build which boasts 1200 power/precision and 1350 condition before corruption stacks or tuning crystal (roughly 1700 with those added in).
I’ve only really lost 400 in healing (still at 900) and the BM traits but its looking promising with some more tweaks.

That’s what I’m thinking. There is soo much condition removal out there in the forms of on shout, aoe pools, healing skills, signets, and traits. I’ve always liked entertaining the idea, but I personally think it’s way too single focused.
Perhaps if there was a better way to weave conditions.
I definitely agree regarding the condition removal issue. On my condition build I choose my offhand and trap types specifically to address it, and with the right loudout, you can assure both a broad range of conditions and a high rate of reapplication. This comes at a cost of other utilities however, especially those relating to survivability, which is where my recent test of the bleed/crit build came in.
I think the trick here is to ‘game’ the system where condition-removal is concerned, without sacrificing the damage numbers too much. Not sure where the right balance is yet but I do think there is a sweet spot somewhere…
I had a chance to test this tonight and yesterday, and it is very cheeserific
A lot of people simply couldn’t react fast enough before the 25 stacks were on them.
all it took was interrupting with Bow Knockback and they were dead.
Few Thieves tried stealthing but died right after cause they were already screwed.
I was also running Spiders, which was honestly the best time to do it, if they ate the immobilize they ate pretty much the full chain.
I was using my rabid axe/horn with the setup, so I need to get a Rampager Version.

Sounds like you were doing fine without it. :P
Lol, I took my Rampager Build underwater for something similar, people swimming above I’d have Devourer stun them, and then completely unload with 20 stacks of bleeds and everything, soon as they dived I switched to Shark to Fear them and finish them off.
Too few cover condis to work against classes with cleanse like engineer or necro or ele ;(
S/D thief will just shadow return to cleanse off the stack if not outright evade spam the combo.
I still prefer my bleed spirit build.
I actually killed a Necro with it, and Engineer..Ele’es the only one I fought solo ran the second I stacked 25 bleeds at the start of the fight (and I had an Add I had to switch to otherwise I would die)

By surprise I’m sure. Anyone who picks up on the pattern of the stacking can mitigate it easily or transfer it back at you.
It’s sort of like S/D thief, at first they destroyed because people weren’t adjusted to the build and then some builds started popping out to counter it.
Have you tried testing against Itkoviana or Amadeus? Good engineers are hard to come by.

Oh I have no doubt they’d pick up on it and switch to the Signet to transfer it back to me.
its still pretty funny never the less though.
What I love about the Warhorn 4 is that you don’t need LOS to hit people with it :p Always love killing those downed eles who run into towers from behind the gate.

Uhm yes you do, if you thought you were killing people that broke LOS with warhorn then i can inform you someone else did.
Yes it most definitely requires line of sight, which really seems completely wrong given the supposed method of attack, from above by birds. In fact this is a change I would suggest to the devs, make it so it does not require los – that would be awesome.

Yeap, Hunter’s Call requiring LoS after being cast completely makes no sense, Since its already been casted, and isn’t an actual Channel Attack.
Can only get it to 14 bleeds
Apparently missing the trick to get it to 25
