Guild Wars 2

Hey everyone,
I’m playing a ranger which is currently level 35. This is my first character on the game and I’m still really new to the game. I’m using a sword and short bow and I’m troubled on what to choose in my traits and what armor and weapons I should be using. For traits so far I have 10 in Marksmanship and 5 in Skirmishing. Does anyone have any tips for me about traits, armor or anything else in general.
Any reply will be appreciated.

At lvl 35, actually anything before you get your second set of traits, doesn’t really matter.
The difficulty level of the game doesn’t ramp up until you get to ~70.
For now, play what’s fun.

If you’re set on sword/sb, though, I’d recommend either a berserker/valkyrie armor set with carrion trinkets for endgame gear to work toward.

Use passive support your play first.
If u play Wild. Survival. go10 this and VI for all Wild.S CD fast20%
Or play safe Nature Magic 10 and III for regen when HP drop to 75% help you a lot.
(N.magic will drop your pow but make your life safe in combat from start)

you can use any weapon to test what u like and some weapon is good on some situation and same weapon is best in some fight and not good in some type of enemy.
Ex. stone-Elm can reflex bullet(any bow is not good to you health)
You can use Markman for high dmg on your LV and must play safer

LV35 still start way to learn ranger you can enjoin your path and learn more how to mix this mix that for your style play
