For example, commanding your pet to use a skill or attack an enemy will now occur instantaneously and will break the creature out of its current action.”The skill activated by Keen Edge is now considered a Survival skill and will benefit from other traits that impact this skill type.

We have been asking for a overhaul on this forever hopefully it is worthwhile change/update.

Yes, pushing F2 will now work as intended. Time will tell if ANet could be bothered to make a pass of the F2 skills themselves so they had reasonable cast times as well considering the pet can’t cast while moving.

Probably should hold my breath.

I like the sigil changes too, a lot of things that didnt make sense getting sorted out there.

Nah, because of the improvement to pets, it will now take 6 seconds for the Stalker to use its F2 instead of just 3! (/sarcasm)

Still, the worse issues with pet like ability to hit targets, survival, no control over them are not solved.
But small good step.

^ That is the truth of it is it not? but hey lets take can get…. i am still wondering if we’ll ever see a double take on our pet’s Hp in WvW/spvp (more WvW) since they still get blown up in ZvZ clashes.
