I like some of your ideas, but just one point if you spec for traps then you can do just what you already ask for.

Fixing F2 responsiveness (which is almost non-existent) and pet AI (pretty close to non-existent despite commands) should be more important than just about any additions or changes to current f2s/skills/signets.
