Hi. This is my first time posting in this forum. I would like to provide some ideas that could be utilize for Pets & Spirits changes. Please pardon my bad English.

Currently, spirits operate on health bar/hp, which does not work well in dungeon due to it getting 1 or 2 shot by most bosses.

I propose to use stacks of life to replace health bar. Eg. Summon Spirit with 10 stack of life. Every hit would reduce the stack by 1 regardless of damage.
Spirits should also be immune to condition damage as ticks from bleed/burn/poison would reduce stacks of life at an alarming rate.

For pets, I would like to propose using dynamic level adjustment for different instances:

Open world PVE: No change Lv80
PVP: = No change Lv80
WvWvW: Lv81 or Lv82
Dungeon: Highest Level +2 to +4

The level increase should provide the pet with additional survivability and damage only for the specific area of play.

On a similar note, I always wondered why stability doesn’t function like this (your idea reminds me of defiant without unshakable when put in context of stability rather than life). I wonder how wedded the design team is to the way spirits currently work. Cool ideas, nonetheless, thanks for sharing.
