Ideas for Survival Skills
Survival skills are already incredibly powerful, mainly when traited. I dont think they need changes at all tbh
I’m not really a fan of just adding stuff to skills to make them “more viable”. They work or they don’t. By that I mean, if a skill cant remain simple enough to understand and be effective, bolting on more stuff as an after thought isn’t going to fix it.
Aoe QZ, yeah that works, is still simple.
Sharpening Stone, doesn’t need aoe apply to allies. Each stone needs to apply bleeding per strike, even if strike is an aoe hit.
Muddy Terrain, stability sounds good. It would probably see a lot more use I would think. Not sure its the “fix” for it though. Its cast time is an eternity.
Lightning reflexes, I wouldn’t change, except maybe directional targeting?
Troll unguent, is good.
Entangle, is good.

True, but we’re always lacking access to group utility, so I was just thinking of possible ways to implement more access towards it.

The only change to survival skills that I would like is for the pets to be cleansed of conditions and to gain fury. Thatis it tbh.
Survival and signets already make up roughly 100% of any ranger build’s utility skills. Shouts and traps are what need the help.

If you spec into Nature Magic, you can use Fortifying Bond to get the fury effect you’re looking for.
