Throwing around some ideas that would help us bring more group utility and survivability.
FIRST
engis have a adept trait that gives them 5 seconds of stealth when immobilized on a 25 second cd
we have a master trait that gives us 3 seconds of…camouflage?? on a 30 second cd when stunned, dazed, knockdown, etc.
so…
every 25 seconds engis can stealth for 5 seconds every time they get immobilized and still be able to move around to reposition themselves, while we can every 30 seconds on a cc…
not bad, though the problem with ours is that we can’t move when we do it or it takes us out of stealth…
so… they should change it so that we have a similar trait to theirs.
Hide in Plain Sight should function similarly:
adept trait
25 second cd
triggers on cc
5 seconds of stealth
or…
adept trait
30 second cd
stunbreak + 1 second of stability
triggers on cc
3 seconds of stealth
SECOND
thieves have a utility called Smoke Screen on a 30 second cd (24 if traited). it is a smoke field and allows thieves to blast/leap to gain stealth, as well as blinding enemies that walk through it
eles have a glyph that when used in earth attunement, produces a Sandstorm on a 60 second cd (48 if traited). this is mainly used for aoe blind (similar to a smoke field)
so…
we should have something similar as well as a trap or survival skill
as a trap:
Dust Trap
30 second cd
applies blind every second for 1 second
5 second duration
smoke field
as a survival skill:
Foggy Day
60 second cd
applies blind every second for 1 second
absorbs projectiles
10 second duration
smoke field
THIRD
warriors have a signet that increases endurance regeneration by 50%, and when activated, clears all conditions on a 45 second cd (36 if traited)
eles have a signet that clears 1 condition every 10 second on a 30 second cd
necros have a signet that, when activated, transfers all condis on self to a target foe on a 60 second cd (48 if traited)
we have a signet that clears 1 condition every 10 seconds, and when activated, does not clear, but transfers all conditions from nearby allies and self, to your pet on a 60 second cd (48 if traited)
so…
again, we should have something similar
clears 1 condition every 10 seconds
active clears all conditions from pet and self
45 second cd
or…
clears 1 condition every 10 seconds
active transfers all conditions on pet and self to target foe
60 second cd

Having a smoke field that is a trap or survival skill would probably help a lot.
Although I feel your Signet of Renewal comments to be off— it’s also a stunbreak. The necro signet can miss. They could make the cooldown a little shorter but that skill is fine as is.
IMO, rangers need something like a trait that removes conditions. For example a trait that removes a condition every time protection is applied (with a cooldown obviously) would be quite swell.
