I was not aware of the fact that the summoned creatures from runes will respond to pet commands! That’s a wonderful tip and something I look forward to checking out.

The differences seem to stem from my playing in PvE a lot and thus needing some way to deal with large numbers of opponents, meaning I tend towards including a drake or a hog somewhere in my pet line-up and also tend towards healing spring rather than a self-focused heal. Since I have allies to hide behind and losing aggro is an entirely different story in PvE as opposed to PvP, I haven’t needed Protect Me and tend to keep Ice Trap in its place.

Aggro mechanics seem to be changing in Orr, and I may have to try out Protect Me at some point.

Also, depending on group composition I may include a torch so that at least one person is consistently providing burning, but since multiple sources of burn aren’t really necessary, the warhorn is nice the rest of the time.

Almost identical to what i run, however i took marksman to 30 for 6 sec of invuln (i felt like protect me was WAAAY too spotty). I also run longbow and open with rapid fire and then switch for the weapon swap boons. (i just swap in horn out of combat for speed).
