If the ranger is your only toon because your more on the 1 toon type guy then… Arenanet kill my kittening game. For 3 years that toon sucked and they keep killing it.
Now to keep evolving my toon i have to become a druid witch is utterly useless specially with the pet that keep not working. Now all my friends are lvl super mastery 80 and i have to start a new one. most of them have changed server so i ll never be able to make enough gold to pay for my transfer to play with them in wvw.
Why the kitten you had to keep killing the kittening ranger.

Hey man, it’s ok. Despite the recent nerfs to certain aspects of the Druid, and the vast amounts of QQ here on the forums, it is actually still quite good. Granted, some of the nerfs have been a bit OTT, but we’re only a week into HoT… there’s plenty of tuning left to be done. We all feel the pain of being first on the block, but we wont be the last.

I also only have one toon. Yes, ranger/druid. But, after so many years of this nonsense, I’m used to it and hope they’ll re-adjust upward.

That said it’s been a week, and I’m hoping some of these ‘kneejerk’ nerfs will be adjusted and addressed with upcoming patches.

I know, I know. But, like I said before, I’m used to this nonsense. Here’s hoping for the best again, yet expecting the worse as always.

Can’t have rangers be dangerous in PvP after all.

I swear, Anet could have given us an elite spec that deleted our account and siphoned money out of our banks and people would still try to claim it was good.

Woah now, just because it doesn’t work for whatever reason you had hoped, doesn’t mean it doesn’t still work for other people who have found a use for it.

I don’t like the way they have handled the class so far, or the nerfs, but it still works.

Agreed Op, I’m also one of those people who’s only 80 was a Ranger. I have a Revenant now to and thats great. I dearly love my Ranger but its tiring being the bad class of the community.
Lol, when the game was new I actually avoided dungeons/fractals like the plague. Didn’t want to deal with crappy people because of the class I choose. I don’t really care anymore,but still.

I got my smokescale back, i’m happy. I just wish horn was a little tiny bit more viable. ^^
I won’t play Druid, but i’ll work hard to make sure I kill every one of them

Yeah just a Ranger here as well, you get used to the nerfs, kinda immune to them.

No I have no interest in being a druid/monk or healer of any kind.

It’s not like we had any choice in the matter, we were just steamrollered.

DH looks very exciting (don’t actually have expansion yet), looks like it could be an easier transition than most classes in the game. Have you had time to check it out OP?

Quit whining. I didn’t even have a Ranger when HoT dropped. I now have a maxed Druid.

I’m wondering about OP’s definition of “useless”

because as for my current experience my druidess is faaaaar away from anything that could be called in accordance with common definitions as “useless”

way to many uses for that….

although I do feel lucky after playing a while as dragonhunter that I love druid elite spec – if I sticked to my old Marksman build then I’d have roles collision between two of my characters….
