Is it just me?
Why do you think the ranger class sucks compared to the other classes? Anet devs have 0 clue, they have to ask the players on how to fix it. Also Isaiah Cartwright only knows how to play the warrior class thats why warrior is so unfairly overpowered compared to other classes. Warrior class does everything a ranger does just better.
no toby, izzy is not the reason for the Op“ness of warrior.
The balancing is about the two guys we can see in every Ready up stream.
And i think they like their warrior very well, as u can see in other streams ( “WARRIOR!!!”). For example the preview of the new heals.
And why should a dev, thats a normal Player too, like all skills in the game? Thats his personal opinion. A lot of rangers dont like the shouts.

the skrittfinisher was my idea!
Only watched the first 6 minutes or so. Berzerker’s gear, cats, and telling to use the nature magic line over beastmastery as it is better to keep your pet alive.
No wonder there are so many terrible rangers out there, not even the dev’s have a clue about how to run one.
I was about to make a large investment in Ranger, but have decided against it after watching this. Albeit all those quotes are technically out of context, they do represent the essence of the sentence he is speaking at the time and I feel are not misleading even though they are paraphrased.
This is an attack on the commentor, this is just what I got from it as an inexperienced ranger player that was thinking about rolling one. It put me off entirely to see this. It just seemed really disjointed. Rangers get my priority place tick on the CDI thread about what profession needs the most help.
Man, those guides really have come a long way! I didn’t watch the recent ones – I was still traumatized from the terrible thief guide long ago – but this was actually right on point about most things. The part about condition specs wasn’t all that necessary this being a PvE guide and conditions being really lackluster there especialy on ranger, but whatever.
I don’t undestand what you people are complaining about. Some of those quotes do apply more to PvP than PvE like “2 tagets dealing different kind of damage”, but you have to realise that there is more than one game mode. The viability of different weapons and strategies depends on the area you want to use them in. Dungeons require group buffs and strong melee weapons to be run smoothely and fast, whereas range, conditions and defense is much more important in WvW and tPvP.
It was a good beginner guide. He never said anything about advanced gameplay. No talks about synergy with other classes, etc… This is meant for someone who is still getting their feet wet. Nice guide, but nothing advanced was included…
