Is my Ranger Build Okay?
You are using power weapons with condition gear. And running power traits with condition gear. And you’re squishy as kitten, while not doing the damage a full zerker would do to compensate. Focus on either power or conditions.
if you want to go for www with this you will survive 1-2 seconds against thief mesmer warrior, 2-3 to other profiesions ..then you respawn
ranger is not suitable for glass cannon build .. every a little smarter enemy will jump on you and kill you ..

So what should I do? Get a whole new armor set?

So what should I do? Change out my sigils for more damage? Or should I just get a whole new set of gear since I’ll still be squishy.
Step #1: Decide how you want to play. Do you want to be condition focused or power focused?
Step #2: Decide on your goal. Do you want to be more tanky or do more damage? You’ll need to decide how much armor you’ll want for example. Most people suggest 2800-3000 for WvW.
I can’t give on honest read on the build because in the pic you’re being downleveled :/

Oh crap. That’s right. :O I’ll have to fix that. Thanks for pointing that out.
Just my input, you don’t HAVE to go either power or condition. You can do both.
I have been loving a power/crit/condition build. With a hybrid type build with no food, I can crit for a good amount, condition damage is good, and not made of glass. I have about 64% crit chance with 80% crit damage, 550ish conidition damage, 2990 power, 2711 armor, and 19k health, and a little healing at 190.
I hate switching gear, and I hate changing traits in order to do something else, so I prefer a build that can do good at it all. I also hate bandwagon builds that everyone jumps on because someone posted a video about it.
Anyway I agree with the other folks that your build is pretty squishy, but I don’t agree that you can only go one direction in the power or condition department.

Would buying toughness and vitality accessories be enough to keep me alive?
I dont understand why you’re using a LB. with low crit damage. For conditions run axe/dagger + sword/torch. For power run LB/GS

No one can tell you whats enough to keep you alive. Do you stay alive? If yes, then your fine. Just pick condi or power. If no, then swap for gear with toughness. (Vitality is a useless stat)
After reading my guild chat a few days ago I’ve been so paranoid that my Ranger sucks.
I was hoping people could shed some light on my Ranger’s build and what kind of accessories I should get.
For weapons I use the Rampager’s Nightmare Longbow with a Super Sigil of Earth and a Rampager’s Nightmare Greatsword.
My Traits are 30, 30, 10, 0, 0.
My accessories, back, amulets, and rings all need to be upgraded but I’m not sure if I should I keep going down the path of Rampager or if should I add some toughness?
I mostly want to PVP but I was thinking about getting a different set for PVE.
I was thinking of switching my Greatsword for a Shortbow as well.
Thanks for your help.
Would getting accessories that boost my toughness and vitality be enough to help my build?
I’m not good at builds, but even so I know not to use condition gear on power weapons and vice versa. Both your weapons should be Berserker’s or Soldiers. Your gear probably a mix of Berserker’s, Soldiers, Valkyrie and toughness (Celestial if you’re really stuck).
Why not use this calculator and link us your build so we can better help/critique your build.
…
Ranger | Necromancer | Warrior | Engineer | Thief
Your toughness should be 1500+, your health should be 18.000+, your power should be 2200+, and it’s not worth having condition damage with either the longbow or greatsword, as both weapons doesn’t have any condition damage skills.
