I tested out a “super bleed” build today for roaming wvw that puts everything it had into evasion, bleeding and disabling. I was pretty much working with my stealth trapper roam gear. It seemed to do well and sharpening stone went a long way with the buffs. Hidden Barbs of course made it much stronger as well.

I use to run torch offhand and flame trap to give some burning diversification but I seem to be doing pretty well with SS on there and offhand dagger.

“Worth it” is tough. I think the skill semi-kicks kitten , you precast it and then use it mid-fight as an insta-cast condi clear. However as often as I take it I never do it with ease of mind. It’s competing against an awful lot of good utilities like GoE, GoT, PM, LR, SoS, SoR, etc.

If you’re taking WK, I would likely wind up taking it. Almost certainly not without that trait though.
