I’m not sure why it’s even there, most of the time I enter CA to pop #3 and/or #4 and leave immediately, except that I have to wait a second plus an extra second because it didn’t register the first command.

It’s not game breaking or anything… just really awkward and annoying.

I believe it’s basically to avoid “double-tapping” the ability if you try to spam it in excitement. Yea, the prevention period is a second too long.

Never really felt bothered by it, though.

I actually really hate this 1s delay. Are rangers so stupid that we need a mechanism to prevent double tapping f5? This is not in place for necro shroud, why do we have it?

Most likely due to losing Astral Force when leaving Celestial Form. Necros are not punished popping in and out of Shroud, but Druids are. The CD is a fail-safe for its (bad) design choice.

Yes it bothers me a lot.

If I just want to use it for condi clear or stealth, I’m forced to wait.

If we have to have it, it really shouldn’t be any longer than a quarter second.

I assume the devs want us to use CA as something more than condi removal or stealth, but more utility promotes a higher level of play. Using things for multiple purposes makes for interesting game play and neat combos. You’re already punished for using CA by depleting your AF.

I find this change quite irritating. Sometimes I wish to play on like a berserker build where I don’t always have time to use CA. So I will just hop into CA and out for stealth to avoid incoming damage. Unfortunately the way it is now I can’t be rewarded for my reaction times but am instead punished for my lack of foresight.
