Like the title says, is there a condition damage cap? Or a level that just makes it lower in the priority list? (ex: at 1000 condition duration is more profitable to put extra bonuses to condition duration/power/crit etc.) Thank you in advance =)

I didn’t seem to notice any diminishing returns even at 2000+ condition damage without might. I guess I have some testing to do.
I believe condition dmg past around 1200 / 1300 offer less contribution to the damage. But not 100% certain.
Yes 1200 is the general cutoff, but it’s only diminishing returns, there is still some value to higher condition damage.
we were testing fields in our skirmish group yesterday, Normally My Condi-gen313 has 1700 cond dmg with food and corruption. and with the 25 stacks of might from our field the damage was WAY more.
some of our mesmers had 3100 condition damage and it was super noticeable over their normal amount also.
Id be interested to see the rate of diminishing returns

I overstated that claim by a smidge, we did more testing lastnight and our mesmer buffed and field prepped had 2800 condi.
I think i took his buffed base and did the Might numbers based on 40/per rather then the correct 35/per….or im just kittened..one of the two 8P

2,800 is still high.
well its not sustainable 100% of the time, in our skirmish group we stealth and field Prep before battle, So we all have 25 stacks of might for 25 seconds then as its comming down I drop a fire field and we blast finish ourselves back up.

Wtf. There is no absolute diminishing returns – which you are talking about – in gw2. No stat has absolute diminishing returns. 20 condition is always 1 more damage of bleed, forever and always.
i get over 2,3 k with my ranger only possibel with rabid gerad, undead rune, 30 points in wilderness survival, buff food, 25stacks of corruption and might stacks.
i think you can get a bit more, is long time ago without Ascended eq
