I love to do jumping puzzles but when you have to take falling damage or land in water or something like that you always have to wait a few seconds before you can get rid of your pet, which loves to be in the way when trying to get onto small pillars or something like that.

Am I missing any better solutions for that problem? Wouldn’t it be possible to keep the pet stowed when set to “Avoid Combat”-stance?

nope, no permastow. need to be able to have a petless build…that would fix everything.

Not everything, but it would be a great improvement anyway.

Use a small pet like a bird. That should minimize the effect of them getting in the way.

You can also try using Guard to set them in an area out of the way, as long as the JP isn’t too huge to the point where you get out of their leash range (and if its big you can use it multiple times in “safe” areas, since its got short cooldown).

I really wish stow would be a toggle, I mean it doesn’t take much ability to know when to unstow that it is necessary to have it automated. I love the pets and I still want that, just so you can more easily drop combat runspeed etc when disengaging.

True, not everything but 99% of the problems is close enough to everything for me

RNG is a bell curve. Better hope you’re on the right side.
