Well, what did you expect?
I’m so relieved they picked up on Evasive Purity not working; I was worried we’d be looking at a broken trait for months to come.
I was kinda expecting them to fix the pet condi dmg ticks not showing up but hey, guess we can’t have all the nice things at once.
I expected nothing. Learned from the past, finally.

What were you expecting? We had a real patch 2 weeks ago, did you think they were going to pump out another massive balance patch so soon?
I’m pretty happy that Evasive Purity was fixed though, blind is kittening annoying nowadays that thing is going to be my favorite trait.
I was hoping they’d fix stability training too, but I guess it can wait. Evasive Purity is much more used than stability training anyway.
This wasnt meant to be a balancing update anyway, so a few bug fixes is fine by me

It doesn’t work. I tried it in the mists, had the trait on and made my pig attack the Dodge Roll Trainer. Kept getting pushed back without getting stability

I’m pretty sure the dodge roll trainer knocks you back even if you have stability doesn’t he? I’d suggest trying it out on the warrior or engi, or even svanir/chieftan instead to make sure.
Stability training works, I’m not sure what’s up with the dodge roll trainer. At least it works for bears, I haven’t tried pigs.
I expected them to just finally do away with the class all together…

Well, I expected some semblance of proper Grammar atleast…
I mean what does it say when about them, when 90% of the notes are all cash shop items in perfect prose while they don’t even bother to get all 3 ducks in the same row for this class’ notes? …

Especially after I just found a way to get ALL of my Boon-duration Bonuses over 50% (which is something I never found a way to do with my Dervish’s enchantments in the First game without COMPLETELY neutering it in every other way) and also extended my 10 lousy seconds of Swiftness from Nature’s voice into a full 17 seconds… I honestly expected to get about 2 weeks of enjoyment out of it before that’s stripped away just like everything else that’s ever been creative or viable about this class.

- Too bad there’s still a big Cast-Animation & delay on “Guard” while no other shouts in the game have a Cast delay b/c shouts have NEVER had delays. WTH is that about?? It’s literally the SHORTEST line that any class ever shouts
Yeah no kidding…i made a build last night that gives me perma might stacks…but i wont talk about it much cause i don’t want it nerfed…perma might?….what are you talking about….I was talking about the new weapon skins…………
Be grateful we got nothing but a bug fix in this update. The nerfs are coming in the next one

Yea i was testing a build like that, most be similar to yours or maybe yours work better, who knows but i am kinda happy with it, works better than expected. I dont even have sigil of battle or any of those runes that buff might duration or something. so probably it can do better if i upgrade a few things.

Spiders hit for a lot now easily 700-750 on cursed shore mobs with no points in BM.
Not to mention the cave spider is a ranged 12 seconds of new weakness now.

I like how rangers are utter garbage in the new pvp map. Ai pathing is kittening laughable with the drop downs, walkways, etc. Not to mention the cannon completely obliterates your pet. Throw in the all the dead falls, cramped corners next to map edges, and ranger’s access to very little stability or its own knockbacks and you have the worst class for the map.

My friend informed me that I’ll be having an AMAZING time on my ele so I’m pretty excited!! Too bad i need to wait until the 15th =(
Yeah bunker elems are going to rule the map. Only thing that stopped them to some extent was the forced fighting in open areas. this map they can run around and los all day long. Careful with ports and speed boosts.

I haven’t tried the new map yet, so are ranged pets the way to go here?

ive seen a couple people talking about a patch in 2 weeks. are we getting more changes? a source to check out please?

This was just a content release with a few scattered bug fixes. It’s much too early in the month for another balance update; they usually come on the last tuesday of the month, and there would normally be another SoTG before the next balance update (although I’m not sure how they’re handling it since the last SoTG was kind of in between updates and focused on prior changes with incoming things expected, so we might not see a SoTG this month).
Still, this wasn’t meant to be a balance patch, it’s just part of the Living Story.
Last time we had 2 months break between balance updates. I’m afraid it will be the 2 moths again :/

@Terkov My old guildies were thinking that they were going to alternate every 2 weeks on bug fixes/balance changes. So we can see if that’s true (or at least following that pattern) next patch xD, but then again, you should know all about the next patch already, and seeing as how you’re afraid we’re not getting anything i’m worried rangers may actually not get anything…

Just seeing how small balance team is (2 ppl iirc?) and how they once decided to wait 2 months, I think it will stay like that… ofc, I’d prefer it to be earlier.
They specifically said they were skipping that month in the SoTG though, so I would assume they would have done the same in the most recent SoTG if they were skipping another month.
Just an assumption though.
a question. Do fixes go on the same schedule as the balance? because it seems if we were just fixed it would go a long way in the balancing of the class.
( and to clarify to the devs…when i say fixed , I dont mean to clip our bags….you did that a few patches ago 8P)
Based on previous patches, mid-month patches are only fixes or updates to the living story, and last-tuesday-of-the-month patches are the “balance” patches.
