It feels like almost all of the ranger pets are way too small. When my level 80 Max-height Norn ranger has her wolf selected, the wolf is the size of a pup. The bears do not look like they’re grown adult-bears etc. I want wolves the size of Garm (Eir’s wolf)- at least at level 80! When you first tame the pets they can have the size they have now, but as you level the pet grows in size. This would benefit enemies in WvW/PvP too, since they’d be easier to target.

You can make your pets larger for 6 seconds by using the active effect of Signet of the Beastmaster, it’going to make your wolf as large as Garm. If you trait it, it’s going to make you bigger as well. Fun times in LA for the whole family

it should be permanently at that size. Our pets should be intimidating and menacing, not cuddly little things you want to cuddle with.

They have scaled the animals to be normal size to humans…. If u compare to a human most of the animals (that exists IRL) are scaled quite properly to humans. Norns are twice a humans height almost and same goes for charr. Thats why pets looks small to those races.

What i DO find fynny though is that most BUGS are larger than Birds….. Compare and owl or an eagle to a grub, spider or a firefly….. Ther should be some bigger, flying pets as well (the size of an ele’s fire-elemental or something)… be it pseudo-dragons, birds, griffons or anything…

I’ve secretly always wanted a huge kittening rhinoceros. Just massive. Or an elephant.

Big or small they’re all instagibbed by AoE the same way. :P However, an Asuran ranger running the traited Beastmaster Signet is just hilarious.

I’m not sure how serious I am, but I would like to see an elite pet elephant for like 45 seconds that functions similarly to a champ abomination, berserk stampeding through the middle of a WvW zerg. I’m picturing bodies flying all over the place like the oliphant things in the last LotRs movie.

This sounds much like how World of Warcraft does it. I like how a large amount of pets in the game are bigger than the largest races at max level, namely the devilsaur.

i want an elite pack of pets that lasts for 10 seconds, and it would be a pack of dragons all using their ultimate strike in all directions.

But really, only if their size, in terms of mechanics, changes as well. I dont want a giant bear 3 times my size which still is the same size as my owl as far as the game is concerned. Thats annoying.

Would also be more interesting gameplay wise, because you could take a giant tanky bear and actually have it properly body block and be like a walking shield ^^

^ i’d actually like that, reward us for the amount of time spent with a certain pet, have it level up as well, let’s say 20 being the max level and increasing it’s stats proportionally

give us an achievement and title for leveling all our pets to 20… like “Beastmaster” or something like that

What OP means is the pet’s shouldn’t be Juvenilles.
Thats all. One of our oldest dream…
We may tame Juvenilles, but to the level adjusted, it should grove up too.
