If my memory serves me right in the last 3 patches the Ranger has only
gotten one change that was the SB nerf….this is unacceptable as the Ranger
class has a multitude of issues beginning with the PET I will list a few here.

1. After killing a MOB my pet randomly charges into battle and attacks target closest to
it even though I have not command it to do so.
2. Pet does not stay close too me…Too far away causing aggro/when I run I want it
right next too me.
3. When in a downed state and my PET is alive it should try to revive me automatically
that’s common sense.
4. Lynx and other canines need to stop wailing at AIR when the enemy is like 3 feet away thus missing a strike (no damage to mob).
5. We need a Stowaway option to Stow pet until we bring it back, not when we attack mobs.

Ranger fixes…
For now only one Ranger Fix would make my day….Undo the SB nerf (look up largest thread on your forum)

Your wasting your time- Anet doesnt read Ranger forums! They ignore this class…your better off rolling a warrior/thief or mesmer- those 3 do a far better job at ranged then ranger and excel at melee!

My pets have always worked well your not the first ranger this has happen to. If you want to talk about bad pets . Neco fg takes the award half the time I attack a mob he off fighting with some other player leaving to solo them. The other times why he did fight on my side and after a tough fight where we need to heal up he runs off and argo a mob of 6 ! This would happen all day. I run a spider the only thing they do wrong is there poison shot misses 90% of the time.

To be honest, my pets have been acting great, apart from the problems with the f2 ability when the game launched (now mostly solved), and the targeting problems on moving mobs, everything else is fine over here.

People who say their pets are working fine… I’d love to know your trick. I can’t get my pet to hit anything in PvP unless the target is rooted, afk or a complete noobcake.
